    I haven't seen anyone mention Ameer's stink in the booth for BTN. Dude could have a commentating career after his playing days are over. Very well spoken, very intelligent, and knows the game.

      @Cdog923  True dat.  I think we'll see more of him when he finishes up in the NFL.  And I fully expect him to improve.

      @Cdog923 is spot on - I don't mean to rail on the guy, and he was well spoken in college interviews, but being a color analyst is really a lot different. And like Cdog said, he'll just have to put the work in if he wants to do it. There are a lot of athletes who think they can jump from pros to broadcast because they know the game. Knowing is half the battle - speaking it is the other. They fail way more often than succeed since they don't realize the nuances (see what I did there? :) ) of it.

       

      I'm also a self-admitted snob about these things.
