  1. When you are trying to win a NC every single year, every single game is high stakes. They do have something to gain every week no matter the opponent. It is just some times you gain more against certain teams.
  2. Ummm...ok. He is going to be a first round pick with many projecting him going in the top 5.
  3. He put up some really good number last year on two bum ankles. But hey, maybe he won't improve this year.
  4. It will be interesting to see the OSU depth chart for this week. OSU has yet to play with all it's projected starters on the D-Line.
  5. I think JJ Husker's comment was a joke. If anything, I think he meant FERPA, but I don't this falls under that.
  6. I remember the 2011 game and I already know OSU doesn't have much behind Fields at QB. Anything can happen.
  7. Well played. I just hope it is a well played game for both teams. I have no idea how good this OSU team is since they haven't been tested yet. Usually they have a good out of conference game under their belt by this time of the year.
  8. Hopefully this isn't a let down game for the Buckeyes like the Purdue game last year or the Iowa game the year before.
  9. No problem. I am a fan of OSU and alumnus/fan of Mount. I was more or less looking at the overall list and wondering how someone can actually rank something like this. I would have put the '95 Husker team at the top but this is all very subjective.
  10. I wasn't talking about OSU, but since you mentioned it, I think their 2014 team was better than the 2002 team even though the 2002 was rated higher in this list.
  11. I don't understand the rhyme or reason for some of these, but, whatever. My school made it in at #145, i'll take that.
  12. To a different date or place? /s Thet time is still TBD.

    B1G Week 2

I think Cincy's defense will keep them in the game against OSU.
  14. We are stuck in our ways. I will say, I love the 6pm time slot and 3:30 isn't bad either. A 8pm start for the OSU/Michigan game is a non starter. I think the 3:30 time for that game probably is the best.
  15. The Shoe didn't have permanent lights until 2014.
  16. I would suggest some of the church in the US needs to travel to the majority world and talk and LISTEN to individuals in the church that are doing amazing things with little or no material wealth. It has changed my perspective many times over. There are churches doing amazing things all over the world. I know of churches in Tijuana that are caring for individuals that are waiting at the US boarder even though the church is in great need themselves.
  17. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2019/08/105676/programs-including-alabama-tried-to-poach-ohio-states-top-assistants-including-zach-smith-greg-schiano-and-ryan-day Oh man, if Alabama would have hired Smith away from OSU, that would have been great. I am glad that OSU kept a hold of Day. It sounds like he had a lot of job offers. Friday news dumps are the best. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-womens-basketball/2019/08/105673/ohio-state-to-investigate-potential-womens-basketball-ncaa-violations-assistant-coach-patrick-klein
  18. Don't sound like Penn State fans. So far this Day fella has done fairly well finding talent. Lets see if he can keep it up. https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/CompositeTeamRankings/ https://247sports.com/Season/2021-Football/CompositeTeamRankings/ He just needs to hold onto some of his assistant coaches. https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/CompositeCoachRankings/
  19. The link I gave is the original article about the violations. Elevenwarriors is the blog that made the original public records request. I think the biggest violation is the Parsons incident where they had to stop recruiting him because of the College Gameday meeting with Herbie and some other former players.
  20. Guess what, that probably isn't the last violation at Nebraska. I am sure they have self reported infractions just like OSU but a newpaper or blog hasn't requested the public records. It is foolish to think that a coach at Nebraska hasn't accidentally texted a recruit when they shouldn't have at least once in the last 2 years or some of the other stuff that OSU self reported.
  21. Did any of you guys actually read violations? https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-basketball/2019/07/105472/ohio-state-football-mens-basketball-self-reported-22-ncaa-violations-between-may-2017-and-may-2019 It isn't like they were giving out free tattoos.
  22. What is wrong with connecting to an unsecured WiFi network? Maybe it is just an open public WiFi network. The person operating the network might be breaching the contract with their ISP by allowing anyone to connect the the network. I think cracking a secured WiFi would be illegal.
  23. If they are not using a GPS to geofence your connection, a VPN would be your friend.
  24. Some of us don't like crappy cable boxes and paying extra for DVR. I also like the flexibility to be on vacation or in my car and being able to pull up a game. The less I have to deal with Spectrum the better.
