      It sure would be nice.  He has a great track record, but folks at TCU feel safe.  He turned down the Texas AD offer, so money doesn't seem to be a factor.  If he didn't leave for the Longhorns, it's hard to fathom him coming to Lincoln.

      It's such a contrast between what we hear from people involved with the NFL and what we hear from our usual preseason CFB list-maker sites. I can see how so many people don't know what to think, but I tend to trust the people that cover the team and watch the practices over outsiders, positive or not.

      Violent protests aren't a new thing. I understand that, but the tepid, ambiguous response from Trump was deeply troubling and confirmed what many of us had feared. He will never publically denounce hate groups that support him even in the aftermath of what happened yesterday. For that, I will never forget what happened.
