No more complaining bout the refs donkies. You just got the biggest gift ever.

So Nebraska loses to #16 UCLA, takes care of business thereafter and barely squeeks back in the rankings. What's the excuse gonna be to keep these 2-3 loss SEC teams in the top 15 after falling to .500 schools?

Sean McDonough during the Stanford/UCLA game: "Andrew Luck should've won th heisman instead of RGIII, and he's a better player now." I don't entirely disagree but WTF.

Mike Evans is the best wr college football has seen in a while. He makes Johnny look real good sometimes.

I've got to work tonight so I'm gonna miss the FSU Clemson game. Anyone know if they'll put the replay on ESPN3?

To me all this targeting stuff is a crock of you know what. It's football, it's a contact sport played by very large and very fast individuals. Flag flagrant attempts to hit someone in the head, you can tell the difference. Also, concusions are going to happen. Zack Darlington, who may never play again, got knocked out on a harmless hit.

SJB hit didn't look like targeting: http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3377639/nebraskatargeting_medium.gif

Looking at the stat leaders in CFB, former Boy's Town Cowboy and UNO Maverick, Shaquil Barrett leads the nation in sacks. Had a buddy who played with him at UNO, said he was a the best player on the team as a freshmen. Hope he makes the league.

Tony Gonzalez is a wizard. Good Lord he's got some hands.

Matt Cassell is not the future, but he better be the present. Ponder should never take another snap for the Vikes.
-
Chuckie Keeton and David Fales are way to good for their teams. Add Brett Smith and Derek Carr, and the Mountain West might be the best conference in the nation for qbs.
-
Dan Hawkins is freaking out about targeting in the Wyoming Air Force game.

Hate to be that guy KC fans, but your offense kind of sucks if you can't score on philly.
-
Aaron Rodgers is putting on a clinic. Take notes RGIII. This is how a real qb runs a real offense.

Pretty even keel about the whole day, but one thing is really bothering me. The whole argument that we have struggled on D lately because we joined the B1G and were geared to stop the spread. News flash for those guys, most teams in the B1G run spread and so does UCLA.

It's a different kind of spread though. Big 12 was all pass happy. Very little mobility from qb's (in comparison to Big 10). It was sling it around the yard. You knew that. you could put guys in coverage and not worry about designed runs 75% of the time. Big 10 is more balanced in creating space. Yes, it is a different animal. Wyoming a couple weeks ago was closer to what we saw in the Big 12.

So what's the scoop on Bo calling up Damon Benning? Heard it referenced on twitter and on BROR.
