  1. Herbstreit is worried about what Frost will do at Nebraska and begin taking down his precious Buckeyes.
  2. Since Currie is out, perhaps they can give Shawn Eichorst a call, I'm sure he can straighten things out there.
  3. Yep, noticed that a while back that it appeared he (Osborne) may have been either the first or one of the first to use it. Was surprised seeing a lineup without just one back.
  4. Spread seems to work okay for Meyer in Ohio and Ohio isn't exactly warm and cozy this time of year. Yes, I live in Ohio.
  5. There was an interview with Frost while he was at Oregon, can't find the link, but he makes mention of combining speed and power, we will just have to wait and see. I myself wouldn't mind seeing a return to the Osborne offense of the 90's with a fullback.
  6. Funny article on the Tennessee ****storm: https://sports.yahoo.com/coaching-carousel-winners-losers-yes-tennessee-definitely-loser-022637752.html And nice props to Nebraska:
  7. If Penn State had left their starters on the field and they actually wanted to try, they could have possibly hit triple figures on the scoreboard. When you hire a new coach, by the third year you should be seeing better results than the year he was hired, we are not. Scott Frost is "N".
  8. For any Vols fans still hoping Frost is heading to Tennessee: Scott Frost final game at Nebraska Scott is "N".
  9. Saw the '83 championship game, even though they lost, fell in love with them and the option, been a fan ever since.
  10. I would take Bohl as a backup to Frost if he didn't decide to come here but my bet is he will.
  11. I don't care who it is, if he doesn't get Frost in here, we are screwed again for the next 5+ years.
  12. If you are right on this prediction I'll be happy. I was always in favor of giving Riley three seasons, this is his team now and it doesn't look good. Any predictions on who the next AD and coach might be?
  13. Remaining schedule: Ohio State (huge) Loss Purdue Tossup Northwestern Tossup Minnesota Tossup (leaning towards loss) Penn State (big) Loss Iowa Loss Best case: 6 - 6 Worst case: 3 - 9 My guess, probably somewhere in between: 5 - 7
  14. Who is UCF's AD? We should hire him, he seems to have enough brains to hire the right guy for the job.
  15. 7-5 after seeing the start we are having, could be worse.
  16. #6 Nebraska http://247sports.com/Season/2018-Football/CompositeTeamRankings
  17. ESPN fired all of the prediction analysts and are now using the below computer to make their predictions for them:
  18. ESPN predicts Nebraska’s 2017 season game by game Nebraska's projected record: 5-7 Fixed the link (thanks RedDenver!): http://nebraska.247sports.com/Gallery/ESPN-predicts-Nebraskas-2017-season-game-by-game-52506051
  19. Zero blowouts, we should be competitive in every game. Better fundamentals A couple more wins Winning the West but not winning the championship is fine. A good New Years bowl game.
  20. Bring in Bohl or Frost and go back to that 90's style offense and defense.
  21. Riley gets two more years, period. This is still, for the most part, Bo's players. Next year will be the first year that begins to change. If after two years Riley hasn't righted the ship, we need to bring in Bohl (don't hate, he is a good coach) or Frost to coach.
  22. I learned what 2014 Wisconsin learned in the Big Ten Championship game (which they lost 59 - 0 and we lost to Wisconsin that year 59 - 24); beware of sleeping giants. Ohio State has the best players from around the country and the only team that can match them talent wise is Alabama. I was afraid after they lost to Penn State that they would come out and play to their potential, but I had hoped they would take out their frustrations on Northwestern and not us. Today we see how much of a talent gap we have with Bo's players and what Ohio State can field and all I can say is that it will get better. Give Riley another year or two (which I've been saying all season) and then we will see where we are at. Remember that this is not all of his recruits in the system and look at what a turnaround he has made in his second year here. If after two more seasons, Riley doesn't have us winning the West every year (I think we win in next year) and playing in the Big Ten Championship, then and only then will I say it is time for a new coach. I know blowouts hurt, it hurts to see our Huskers beaten down like this but even our best coaches of all time had a blowout loss here and there so this is nothing new. And I learned a lot of Husker fans can whine like no other fans in the country can.
