It wasn't just the oline that got penalties. Are we going to talk about getting rid of the other coaches also that had their guys get penalized?

We were a few hundred yards away from having 3-1000 yard rushers in a season? To me, that says our line was doing what they were suppose to be doing. It might not have been pretty but it worked.

I think Raymond is trying to get our DBs to another level with their play. It is all good being physical, but when you are physical without good technique, you can get burned more often then not. It's alot like wrestling, you can have a guy that is stronger then anyone and put him up against a great technician and the technician will win 9 out of 10 times, if not all 10.

What's up with Sirles? I haven't heard anything about that...all I know about him is he looooves talking to the media. Does that mean Yoshi is currently projected to start? What is our starting 5 on the O-line looking like atm, anyway? (Obviously, we have a full month of practice ahead of us. Things could easily be wildly different in two weeks.) Caputo seems to be a given, but who else? Yoshi at LT? I figure Rodriguez is probably a starter at a G spot... +1 I agree. Kind of like saying the uniforms make the teams lose games. This thread is a great idea. Keeps things condensed so there aren't 30,000 topics about every single little injury that happens. stop bumping this. Every time it is top it has to be checked like someone is injured. I guarantee there will still be threads for everyone specific injury, and this thread is likely to blame for their injury. (okay maybe not, but still it isn't going to consolidate it) Edit: and why would you want it too, go take a look at the mess that is "buckeyeplanet" with threads consolidated into monsters that you wouldn't ever dare to want to read. Where did you get the idea it was his decision not to suit up? He probably wants to be out with the other guys on the field as bad as anyone else. I believe Bo is the one that has the say when it comes to him practicing or not. Bo knows what Bubba has at stake and is playing it safe with him to protect the kids intrests whether it be football or baseball.

I like our chances here with Bullard...People didn't think we would get Ankrah to leave the East coast and that happened. His eyes will be opened once he gets here and mom will fall in love with Bo and company and feel this will be the place for him.

I know some parents who were at that tournament. It was such a nothing thing that nobody even talked about it until I asked them, and they basically said the same thing - it was a pretty normal dispute you see at tournaments like this. Pretty much everyone, from both teams, was upset at this ump. The umps take a LOT of grief from the stands at these tournaments, and while I don't agree with it, it happens all the time. I have not heard that Bo was asked to leave. This tournament was held in June but the first anyone heard about it was last week, apparently because in the retelling of this "incident" the story seems to get embellished. Pretty soon we're going to find out that nobody has any clear memories of it because Tom Osborne called in the Men in Black and had them clean the situation up. Look here at this light... The story I was told has Bo decapitating the umpire with a samurai sword signed by Randy Jackson, and then punting a lady's baby into a busy intersection. Then he ordered 3 hotdogs from the concession stand and ate them... WITHOUT PAYING!! You left out the part when he threw those puppies into a woodchipper while eating the hotdogs.

The softball thing did happen and it had to do with an umpire. Bo got in a heated arguement with an umpire about a call made. Bo was asked to go to the head table to talk with the main guy in charge about it. He did and that conversation got heated and Bo kind of blew up and was asked to leave. This is what was told to me by a guy I work with that was there because his daughter was playing. He said people were blowing it way out of proportion before Bo even left the field. He said it wouldn't be any different then any other parent getting pissed at a game except it was BO.

I heard his girlfriend hurt his elbow after he tried donkey punching her...I guess she was pissed.
