DJR313
Now if the cops can only put him at the scene where the kicker "fell" off the cliff, this made for TV movie is all but written. Quote Link to comment
Alex 4.0
shees guys, some of you are acting like 17 year olds yourselves. Name calling and the whole bit is just pointless, it doesn't fix anything. The truth of the matter is these young men are just part of a trend that happens EVERYWHERE in sports now. The days of team loyalty burned out with the Michael Jordans last ring. Since then NBA has died, why? rarely can you find a team with a consistent group of players to root for. NBA is dead. College football COACHES (a players supposed role model) don't stick around for more than a few years very often anymore, jumping around to get different opportunities. how many coaching changes has Nebraska experienced over the last 10 years.....its the way things are, and its going to be this way, get over it, move on..... we have a hell of a class this year with or without a couple of guys, and we will be fine. Big Red Cop
"You are a brave young man Jordan, we could learn alot from the strength you are showing. May God bless you and your uncle." Sounds kind of funny now. Sorry about the flashback! And by the way, I truly hope his uncle finds a donor. He now needs a whole new liver. Quote Link to comment
hastingshusker
Hey, if hes happy in SoCal then by all means be happy hes gone. If he doesnt want to be here (obviously by now) then im glad he is gone. It sounds to me like Kunalic could be a better kicker then Congdon anyway. Lets just hope that he performs up to the hype that surrounds him. Quote Link to comment
Always a husker
I saw Kunalic talking about how he could have easily made the kick at the cotton bowl and how it must be prety embarrasing to be the kicker who cant make that. Quote Link to comment
Tommie15
What a bunch of crap. i thought he was the best thing since sliced bread? Quote Link to comment
DaveH
What a bunch of crap. i thought he was the best thing since sliced bread? OMG HI2U!!!1 Quote Link to comment
rawhide
sliced bread comes after the dreaded bread bowl that's the best let's start a thread that we can knitpick every decison by every player and coach all the way back to 1913 BUGEATERS RULE Congdon left. It's all over with now. Good, bad or indifferent DONE. I should have clarified I'm ambivalent towards Congdon and his rationale for leaving. I think he didn't like Runzas. Quote Link to comment
Jarred04
Its not like he got a real chance to kick this year anyways. I heard a lot of yelling this year on this board because he wasn't any good, and what happened to him this year? I am mad he left too, but leave he did. Now we just need to hope this kicker from texas is as good as he says he is. Quote Link to comment
NU fan in Denver
I am just wondering if he saw the writing on the wall? There were some chances for him to kick some longer kicks that he was not given. Then with the recruitment of the new K Adi he figured it was time to jump ship and go where the last player just expired himself. Maybe he thought or heard the rumors that the new kicker had a leg for 55 and he knew he could only go from 40. Who knows. Maybe he was just home sick. Quote Link to comment
