Just because they start on defense shouldn't automatically qualify them to be a Blackshirt. The way the defense played last year....there were NO Blackshirts on the roster in my mind. There is never a reason to change our color. Never a reason to show up like Oregon or Miami. True tradition like Michigan and Penn State, Alabama, Texas. We are not new kids on the block that need to try gimmicks to succeed. If we have to motivate the players and the fans with other than The N on the heltmet and our Red jersesy, we have a lot more problems as a fan base than most thought.
