Enhance
hey oh That guy must be a beast in the weight room..20 pounds is impressive. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
Is that healthy to add that much in that little of time on that size frame? How can someone be 24 lbs heavier and be faster? Quote Link to comment
huzkerbob
This was the biggest news I heard all day! Should help his endurance quite a bit. Although I am a little skeptical that he won't lose at least a little speed. But that's not always the case. And the added pop when he lowers his shoulders should be well worth it! BIGREDIOWAN
I used to weight 202 lbs and I could lift a truck and I'm only 5'8". Needless to say I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without losing my breath so I can't imagine he's faster? Gaining that much weight in this amount of time is some serious work in the weight room and on your diet. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
Either he's racking weights and "supplements" or he really really likes George's and Ali Baba's Quote Link to comment

Newton's 2nd law doesn't agree with this "bigger and faster" thing. If Force=Mass X Acceleration, and Mass goes up, Acceleration must go down! Unless of course the added Mass leades to added Acceleration. In which, we now have more Mass, more Acceleration. And more Force! And oh yeah...more touchdowns, brocken tackles, YAC, wins, etc. HELU! Huskers Forever
Okay, he is now bigger than Lawrence Phillips was. This guy is the master at understanding angles, and making people miss, now you can add running people over to his list of skills. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
It's likely just the camera angle, but he looks kinda chunky in this picture. Quote Link to comment
shyndy
just wanted to say that he mentioned he had been gaining weight during the season, that a shoulder injury kept him off the standard weight routine so the 198 he was at to begin the year was low. Still, we do not have a great history of backs bulking up here. Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
I think QC is a viable back whose potential has yet to be realized. QC needs to stop fumbling, but he is otherwise an electric player. See the Gator Bowl as proof. Roy is electric, but the combo of Roy and QC looks good to me. Quote Link to comment
lilred
I wish he weren't gaining so much weight Quote Link to comment

QC was listed at 210? Or Helu? In the press conference yesterday, QC said he dropped 10 pounds down to 235 and Helu said he was listed around 200 at the beginning of the 2008 season.
