fishnfrank
I agree to most everything said. I think if we can keep Lee on his feet and let him do his job, and the D shuts down the run, we will be in good shape. Quote Link to comment
permafour
What he said: STOP THE RUN. Seriously, y'all stop our running game and you'll have us by our ..... However, I think that's easier said than done. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
. . . stop the run. . . . make a LOT of big scoring plays. If we get into a grind-it-out game with VaTech, we lose. Quote Link to comment

CENTEXHUSKER
if.......we win the battles in the preverbial trenches and win the turnover battle GBR Quote Link to comment
snootalope
simply slow down the run (we aren't going to totally stop it) and let Lee do what he's been doing. Quote Link to comment
CornSyrup
... if every one of Adi's kickoffs go through the endzone, and every Henery punt is unreturnable. ... if Paul can bust loose on a kick or punt return and take it to the house. Quote Link to comment
NoKoolAidForME
the team doesn't have mental mistakes. Contrary to an earlier post. we were flagged by those ACC officials for these reasons: 1. Taylor got piled on when he was on the ground. 2. The out of bounds hit was past the warning line. he passed a couple player on the bench to make the hit. 3. The whistle had sounded. 4. Lastly our fiery fearless leaders unsportsmanlike penalty were warranted. Even he admit he need to be smarter than he was in that situation. Quote Link to comment
craigsker
....Helu can get it going and the defense stuffs the run. Quote Link to comment
Micheal
We Will Beat VT if...the defense earns the Blackshirts against that Hokie offense. Quote Link to comment
BamaBeta
Nebraska can run the ball at will and keep Tyrod contained. Quote Link to comment
jjamuss
We will beat VT if... IF VT SHOWS UP FOR THE GAME!! Quote Link to comment
jjamuss
the Big 12 officals hang some payback calls and lay a few unsportmanmlike calls when the VT coaches go beserk over the lousy calls. Since, the only reason they beat us was they had the ACC officals when they needed them the most!!! just sayin they may not have the ACC refs to hand them the game on a silver platter! EXACTLY... Bo needs to let the refs do their job, right or wrong. No matter what they call the Huskers MUST play through it and get points on the board. Stats dont mean jack at the end of the game!!
