Army Husker
I dunno, I think that we gain a couple spots regardless of how others above us do tomorrow. I think we gave a good showing last night that will clear up a few doubts in the pollsters minds. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
We may wind up near the top ten by the end of the month. Maybe even in it. Depends who loses. Quote Link to comment

mattbri17
BCS polls are released on Oct 13th. It will be interesting to see where we land. Quote Link to comment
mattbri17
15. They beat a lower ranked team. Would be in top 10 if they could have beat VT. They were lower ranked in the AP but not the Coaches. Quote Link to comment
FLU
I am guessing 18/19... hopefully higher, but I doubt it. The next 3 games are wins, as far as I'm concerned. The games vs. Oklahoma and Kansas will determine the fate of the team. Ahh, just imagine if they could run the table up until the Big 12 Championship... Quote Link to comment
melscott62
I'll take my usual stance: Doesn't matter until the final week. A conference win on the road where the last win was in 2001 is absolutely awesome and worth much more than the pollsters will ever acknowledge. But, I'm going to relish the conf. win for a bit, and worry about the polls later. Just keep winning and the final polls (the only ones that actually matter) will straighten themselves out. Really - trust me. normally I would agree.... but I think moving up in the polls could give our recruiting a boost Quote Link to comment
skersfan
God I hate always being the realist on this board, why can't some else take up being the Ahole for awhile. My guess if everyone wins we will not move up in the poles. We beat no one of value. Not saying Mizzou was not a good team. But win value pretty much not existant. Not really a chance to move up much on our own is what I am saying. Most people did not watch the game out here, Nebraska fans, and my boss looked in late. I doubt the east coast media paid any attention to two low ranked teams. Very late and if they did most likley left at the end of the third quarter thinking we would lose as normal in their minds. The one thing that helps us is Suh. He is becoming a household name and the more he does the higher we will get. If we rise I think we thank Mr Suh, he is what is gaining attention. redout22
They will be 16. Mark it down. Quote Link to comment

Agree on all counts. Suh is becoming a household name, and if nobody else loses ahead of us, we'll have him to thank if we move up. Quote Link to comment
agibson95
Im guessing we will be 20 in the AP and 22 in the coaches poll. Missouri will be unranked. Quote Link to comment
cmb23
Let's discuss this after the OU game...even though they have 2 losses that will be our benchmark game. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
I am saying probably 18 or so, pundits are like a$$holes...they have no brains, just votes on these silly polls. Quote Link to comment
