TheCheshireCat
I know this will be moved but Rivals said he decommits. God damnit. We have been on a roll and damn near beat Texas and he decides now that he'll leave? And of course he's one of the few offensive players in that class. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
By the way, I'm not calling him a son of a bitch. It's just what I exclaimed when I read it. Just throwing that out there. Quote Link to comment
typ3kal
I just said the same thing about 5 minutes ago in real life. I was really looking forward to him. I wanted him + Corvin Lamb, but not happening. SOB Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
He saw Watson's ineptitude is my guess and booked it. Quote Link to comment

SouthAfricanHusker
He saw Watson's ineptitude is my guess and booked it. I'm not really a fan of the direction Watson is going but this blog kinda puts it into perspective. If we have to endure years of little offense but we can compete with the big boys I can live with it. In MU's best season they were rolled by the only decent team. Also, CC fits the MU system perfectly. My guess is that he will have much better numbers at MU than NU no matter who we have as a coordinator. MU vs NU Quote Link to comment
Ringer02
He's considering two things. Will Watson have a job in a few years? If not, will they ever go back to slot receivers? It's probably in his best interests that he goes to mizzou or something Quote Link to comment
Huskerfrkrule
Cya , Have fun playing the blackshirts !!!! Quote Link to comment
lilred
This offense situation sure is a problem. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
I don't see how. Does Gabbert ever realize that with him at the helm instead of a piss-poor Lee we might be a one-loss team if not undefeated? Carter will learn the hard way one day as well. Quote Link to comment
husker98
Cya , Have fun playing the blackshirts !!!! I think he goes TCU for that reason Quote Link to comment
redout22
Meh... No comment really. TCU bound. Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
as long as he's at TCU and not Mizzou, then i am fine with this. chalk another loss up to our formidable offense and brilliant OC. Quote Link to comment
mitch7
He is basing his decision off of one year of a terrible offense. I wish he would look at what we did the previous years and how badly we need him. He obviously realized that Lee is not good, but isn't Tyler Gabbert one of the main reasons he is coming? He must believe that Gabbert is good and will get him the ball if Gabbert is able to beat out the others. Plus we have Green who will develop into a solid QB that is not afraid to throw the ball. Yes our wide receivers tend to be more of the possession type, but it is obvious that Watson wants to spread the field and take deep shot as recently seen with niles paul and to kinnie during the Texas game. His speed would make him an excellent deep threat. I really hope Pelini can change his mind and maybe his dad will eventually change his mind. He said it himself I am not a 6'2" or 6'3" WR, but yet Alexander is big bodied tall receiver which is the exact opposite of Carter. Yes Maclin is closer to his size I will give them that. PLEASE Carter change your mind. Maybe after a year of playing against the NU defense he will be scared into joining us. Quote Link to comment
