Spartness
I was watching Texas Tech play in the bowl game. One of the announcers commented that the TTU OL -- I believe his name was Braddock Carter -- dominated Suh in that October game. Is that true? I don't remember Suh being dominated one-on-one by anyone this season. Quote Link to comment
WVhuskerXX
You are talking about Brandon Carter..and no he did not dominate Suh...Carter did hold his own compared to the others who went against Suh Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
I remember hearing that announcer say that. I dont know what game he was watching but it certainly wasnt the same one i remember. I am sure someone told him through his earpiece to say that, unfortunately it made him look and sound like an ass clown. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
I bet Suh has a better pro career than Carter. Suh knows when to speak and when to keep his flippin mouth shut while Carter does not. Quote Link to comment
captain obvious
Carter didn't dominate Suh. He merely kept Suh from making him look like a damn fool, which is more than every other lineman on the Huskers' schedule can say (except for maybe 2 guys for KU, they played well). Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
If anyone "dominated" Suh (whatever the f#*k that means ) I would have to say the lineman from Kansas played him. Suh still made some plays against Texas Tech, but was rather nuetralized against Kansas. At least Leach is gone now, that's another Big 12 faker that can go right back to where they belong. Things are gettin more and more back to normal every day. Quote Link to comment
mitch7
Carter is the guy with the mohawk and face paint right? If so, yeah I thought he held his own...he did better than anyone else in my opinion. Quote Link to comment
shyndy
the only thing that dominated suh all year was flagrant holding Quote Link to comment
Gideanb
I went and looked up the stats. 4 tackles, 2 for loss and 4 QB hurries. Not to mention we held them to 259 total yards on offense. I don't think Suh was dominated. That is a good game for a DT, maybe not dominating but still very good. Plus I was thinking the same thing when the announcer said that. He said he dominated Suh. Give me a break. Quote Link to comment

motorboatjonesNU
I thought TT schemed well against Suh - probably the best of anyone all year. Carter had a good game against him because TT was boxing Suh in to block his movement. Suh had 3-4 bodies on him all game nearly every play - from nearly every direction. Quote Link to comment
WVhuskerXX
another thing as well with Tech is their splits on the line are much bigger than most Quote Link to comment
Never Skerd'
and they throw it away before anyone can get there. Quote Link to comment

Give me a break. i heard that too and thought, 'they love talking up teams during the bowl season.' although, suh does have different standards, and to dominate SUH, you merely have to not get completely dominated. That and the fact that TTech gets away with more flagrant holding than any other team I've ever seen. I'm still not sure why the wide splits mean that they can tackle the opposing D-line, but that's officiating in the B12 for you. Quote Link to comment
