Nexus
Turner's recent HI article (2/10/10) states that his early Top 5 are: Miami Oklahoma Nebraska Notre Dame Stanford Academics will be a big factor for him since he aspires to be a Cardiologist. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
Then I guess he's going to Stanford or Notre Dame. Quote Link to comment

carlfense
Looks like Nebraska has good company for the services of Josh "Big Time" Turner. (sorry E) Quote Link to comment
iruletheskool
I like it, let's all refer to him as "big time" .. maybe he'll hear about the nickname, couldn't hurt. Quote Link to comment
redout22
Big time has a lot of big offers. If we could get him here for a game that would be huge. Maybe the Texas game. 1 Quote Link to comment

If he wants to be a cardiologist, that means he needs basically a 4.0gpa, so even though the biology or psychology programs at Nebraska aren't on the same level as a Stanford, it may give him the opportunity he needs to get into med school by choosing Nebraska. Just a thought. Quote Link to comment

Just a thought. Nah . . . his undergrad GPA just needs to be good enough to get into med school. Once you are into med school your undergraduate grades don't matter. From then on the only thing that determines your ceiling is your board scores and your class grades in med school. Quote Link to comment
epocSoN
That's some big time pressure to be studying to be a cardiologist as well as play football at the same time. 1 Quote Link to comment

With a 20 on his ACT? HA. Good luck with that. BTW, epocSoN he won't be studying to be a cardiologist at UNL, just taking the pre-reqs for med school. Still a tough task, but not nearly on the same level. On a side note, this kid is big time, so maybe he can pull it off. 1 Quote Link to comment
