C N Red
I think this Jerryism came at the same bar and same time he gave his thoughts on Tebow and Parcells! Quote Link to comment
HuskerNMO
Notre Dame would never join a conference with the likes of Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas State or Oklahoma State. The only conference that has a chance at Notre Dame, is the Big Ten. /story Quote Link to comment
manitobahusker
i have a feeling if anything happens it will be Arkansas and BYU joining the big 12 between now and 2015 Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Even if this were to happen who cares? We are still in a stable conference. 1 Quote Link to comment
schuhbdoo
Pipe dream. ND will not join a conference unless forced, and if forced the only conference they would join would be the Big10. They arent going to throw away their rivalries, they are hooked on tradition, that is the exact reason they are in the situation they are in....refusal to change. Arkansas will never go back to a conference that involves TU. Texas has the easiest road to a BCS game or NC that anyone has ever seen. They have more power and influence than any Div 1 program has ever seen within their own conference. If you thought Tejas and NU didnt get along, Tejas and ND are 100x more the opposite than we were. Mark my words, this will never happen and it is just Jerry being Jerry. Exactly, the odds of this happening are slim to none. ND would never leave the rivalries they have with the big ten teams such as michigan and michigan st. Also, i think they realize that they would never be on the same pedestal with beebe that texas is. In other words, never gunna happen. I think Jerry needs to spend more time running his Cowboys and trying to make that team better. That needs all of his attention right now. That team has done anything since Jimmy's Johnson was running that team and stock piled all those picks for Herschel Walker. Who is the genius that put a scoreboard 90 feet above the field. Enough said!!! Quote Link to comment

huzkerbob
I think this Jerryism came at the same bar and same time he gave his thoughts on Tebow and Parcells! That was actually one of Jerry's more lucid moments. Quote Link to comment
scarletNcream
Never happen, Tom Keegen is a KU homer, read some of the lines, Jerry Jones a visionary? Fantasy writing. Quote Link to comment
GBRsal
what school would be dumb enough to even think about jumping in the big12 cesspool? it would be a miracle if they got tulsa and wichita st to join Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
Not only would no school want to join, the big 12 does not want to expand. Even if the big 12 were to lok at expansion you get another bad situation let's say the big 12 makes some huge deal with ND to get them join. Than you just have to teams pissing everybody off instead of one. Quote Link to comment

Notre Dame Joe
This makes tons of sense. Let's have the South Bend teams commute to Texas and Kansas while the team from Lincoln goes to Illinois. While we're at it. Let's put BC in with Miami and FSU while South Florida joins the ... oh wait. 1 Quote Link to comment

Hunter94
ND coming to the big 12? it will be a cold day in hell, before that happens! Quote Link to comment
Rail Rider
Wow, They sure are drinking the Orange kool aid in Texas. There is no way any team from the other major conferences would ever join the Big 12 the way it works now. Why would any team join the Big 12 when the rules and revenue sharing all favors Texas. The only way the Big 12 lures any other major conference teams is if they change revenue sharing, but that will never happen, just ask the Pac 10. Quote Link to comment
