HuskerExpat
Frazier #1 What did you expect http://youngbrothas.com/2010/08/31/top-5-black-college-quarterbacks-ever-video/ Yeah, two NCs, almost a third and a dominant part of the offense unlike a "game manager," to use the parlance of the day. Seems like a no brainer to me. Quote Link to comment
Bradr
I'm kind of surprised Vince Young isn't on the list. And the website is YOUNGBROTHERS!!! A golden opportunity wasted... Quote Link to comment
holvy83
Was this Top 5 of the 90's? I too think Vince Young should have made the list, great football player. Quote Link to comment
BGREDSTUCKN IA
I would of put Vince Young at #2 behind Frazier. Quote Link to comment

Husker Richard
I would put Vince Young at #1 How could you put VY in front of Frazier? Regardless of your allegiance to Husker Nation, Frazier >>>> Vince Young. 1 Quote Link to comment

Cy the Cyclone
A QB is a QB whether they're black, white or green or whatever. I object to the whole premise of the article and, therefore, refuse to read or comment on it...though I just did which basically destroys the premise for my entire objection Quote Link to comment
UGAHusker
Mike Vick should be higher...greatest football player EVER. Also, gotta have Doug Williams up there somewhere. How about Joe Hamilton? Quote Link to comment
junior4949
Cy, I was thinking the same thing. What decade are we living in again? Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I would put Vince Young at #1 How could you put VY in front of Frazier? Regardless of your allegiance to Husker Nation, Frazier >>>> Vince Young. That's fine if you think so, but I don't. One more national championship is certainly a big deal and deserves recognition, but that's really the only edge I give to Tommie Frazier (don't get me wrong, I love the guy). Vince Young had ~1000 more career rushing yards, 2,000 more career passing yards, a better win-loss percentage as a starter, in addition to being a hell of a better passer. He also did this with an incompetent gameday coaching staff and far less talent (could be used as an argument against by saying it inflated his stats being the whole team, or for by saying that he had to work that much harder). Just my opinion. I look at players as objectively as I can when I measure how good they were compared to others, and whether they played for Nebraska has nothing to do with that.
