knapplc
Did anyone else notice we don't play our final game the Friday after Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving in 2011 is 11/24. We play Iowa on 11/26. That I do not like. Quote Link to comment
bball_backer
I like that schedule....If we go undefeated than we will have truly earned a National Title for that season...on top that our Non-conf schedule with Wash/Tenn/UCLA/Miami/Fresno State....we will truly be playing a champion style schedule exactly what i was going to say....if nebraska goes undefeated, i think they'll stand a pretty good chance to win the nat. championship cause they'll be more than experienced. also, do you think nebraska will try to get out of some of these non-con games? drewbudd
I might have to make a trip back from Korea for one of these games. Specifically that Ohio State game... Though, I can't say that I'm not looking forward to getting a break from Ohio State and Wisconsin for a bit. I think everyone badly wanted a piece of us and they decided to give all the big boys a shot first. Quote Link to comment
UGAHusker
How does the rotation work? Why do we play 3 teams in cross division 2 years in a row while maintaining PSU every year? Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
How does the rotation work? Why do we play 3 teams in cross division 2 years in a row while maintaining PSU every year? PSU is a "protected" cross-over rival who we will play every year. Then we play two other teams that rotate every two years. So after 2012, we lose tOSU and Wiscy and get two other teams from the other division. Quote Link to comment

admo
Damn. That's sick. I love it! So freaking tired of us playing KU, KSU, Colo , etc... This sched is a breath of fresh air. Penn State every year? Delicious. Quote Link to comment
corncraze
Dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iowa 4 the game after thanksgiving?!?!?!?!?!?! Quote Link to comment
drewbudd
There is nothing stopping the Iowa game from being the day after Thanksgiving. It is only listed right now as that Saturday because there has been no television deal made to move it up one day. REMAIN CALM! I'm sure there will be a push to make that game a day after Thanksgiving game every year. Quote Link to comment
Bradr
10/1- @Wisconsin 10/8- Ohio State 10/15- Bye 10/22- @Minnesota 10/29- Michigan State 11/5- Northwestern 11/12- @Penn State 11/19- @Michigan 11/26- Iowa Wow. There must have been some maneuvering on our part to get the easier conference schedule rotation for 2013 when we play non-con Wyoming, Southern Miss, and UCLA. Can you even imagine that non-con with that conference schedule? Pretty elite strength of schedule there. Quote Link to comment
