VectorVictor
Link to College Football News Composite Schedule for Big 10 Of note: Each week's games ranked from best to worst, or most important to least important: Saturday, October 1 1. Nebraska at Penn State 2. Michigan State at Iowa 3. Michigan at Illinois 4. Ohio State at Purdue 5. Wisconsin at Minnesota 6. Rice at Northwestern Saturday, November 19 1. Nebraska at Michigan 2. Penn State at Ohio State 3. Wisconsin at Illinois 4. Iowa at Purdue 5. Minnesota at Northwestern 6. Indiana at Michigan State Saturday, November 26 1. Ohio State at Michigan 2. Iowa at Nebraska 3. Penn State at Wisconsin 4. Michigan State at Northwestern 5. Illinois at Minnesota 6. Purdue at Indiana Not too shabby. With the exception of the Minnesota game (understandably so), we're either the best or second-best draw in the conference per CFN. And frankly, the fact that we don't drop below third for what will be a certain blow-out in Minnesota bodes well for Nebraska's media exposure this season (read: National ABC/ESPN coverage...save for the Minnesota game *sigh*). Other than the Washington game, our non-conference slate will likely all be on the Big 10 Network, which works out great for the conference--no better way to introduce us to the B1G fans than to show us three out of four weeks at the beginning of the season. Anyway, CFN has a crap-ton of articles up from the past week or so about Nebraska and the Big 10 en masse. It's the off-season, so we can't afford to be picky about our reading material...right? We're going to be all over place next year with the amount of quality matchups we have ahead of us. If we perform well they'll be talking about us all year. Quote Link to comment

74Hunter
What? The Iowa game is only second that week? Yeah, they're lucky we are in that game, otherwise it would probably be no better than 5th or 6th. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Holy crap I'm pumped for this season. Quote Link to comment
HuskerT
Not much of a surprise. We knew there would be a lot of national attention surrounding our move to the big10, but I still haven't got used to how brutal our schedule looks. Quote Link to comment

Judging by the looks of things, I wouldn't be surprised if on Sept. 10th the Fresno State game got picked up for ABC Regional/ESPN2/ESPNU. I was down in Fresno most of the week for work....and Fresno State fans are pretty jacked for the game. Here is a look at might be more attractive to being picked up before the Nebraska/Fresno State game.... Bama vs. Penn State Arizona vs. Ok Lite BYU vs. Texas Utah vs. USC Miss State vs. Auburn Mizzou vs. Az State Oregon State vs. Wisc ND vs. Michigan Sitting in the Sacramento Airport right now with delays on board, might be overnighting in Denver and miss the connection to Lincoln. Creed
There will be excitement as Nebraska travels to Big 10 cities for the first time and Big 10 teams visit Lincoln. Nebraska was done no favors with their schedule. Wisc and Ohio State to begin conf play. I really think PSU and Mich will be vastly improved and more experienced come Nov next year. If Nebraska had those teams early in the year they would be much safer games. The games are at Happy Valley and the Big House to boot. Ohio State in Lincoln will be monsterous. Nebraska at Minn - you'll get to see a neat little stadium but an easy win. Mich St - way overhyped last year. I say their akin to Missouri. NW - should be easy win but NW will surprise you every now and again. Iowa - Iowa will be down a little next year but do I foresee some fireworks to get this border rivalry begun? Redmusky
We all know that list will change due to our win lost record and the record of our opponents. The first 2 or 3 games within the big ten will not change in ranking and TV ratings. I thing is for sure all our games this season will be sold out at home and on the road. Quote Link to comment
