FLU
Have been saying that for years about Miles. He has a staff of great recruiters, but he's not a great coach. Look how many close games they've played during his tenure against teams with inferior talent. He's another snake oil salesman... makes a lot of promises he can't/doesn't keep. Link to comment

There have been times when he'll have his team do something and you'd be left scratching your head. He's had some insane lucky spells as well. Link to comment
Huskerbreeze
Funny thing is LSU has a higher graduation rate than the Huskers (they don't count transfer students leaving), so they must be doing something right. ALTHOUGH, that is just the last class. Previously they were prettty awful. GBR Link to comment
FLU
Les Miles has sold his soul to the Devil, no doubt. Link to comment

Everybody should count transfers or everybody shouldn't. In the case of LSU or bama I can see why they wouldn't count tranfers. They aren't shy about cutting guys. Link to comment
FLU
From the front sports page from today's Baton Rouge Morning Advocate... Most of the football players LSU has committed or have pursued have had their minds made up for weeks and months. Trey Granier, an Advocate Second Dozen linebacker from Thibodaux, committed to the Tigers in November 2010. John Curtis tight end Dillon Gordon cast his lot with LSU almost exactly a year ago. Still, as the curtain is raised Wednesday on the start of the 2012 national signing period, there is still plenty of drama to be found. The Tigers will be trying to land a pair of highly regarded prospects from Oxford, Ala.: outside linebacker Kwon Alexander (6-foot-2, 215 pounds) and safety Trae Elston (6-0, 180). LSU also remains in hot pursuit of Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (6-4, 205), and could still be considering Winnfield wide receiver Alonzo Moore (6-2, 182) as well. Link to comment
FrankWheeler
Don't you think he'd hold off on his decision if he was still being pursued by LSU? Why announce at 9:00 a.m. if there is still a possibility LSU offers him later? Link to comment
FLU
That's why I'm hoping that his signing time is accurate. If he delays, then that undoubtedly means that he's holding off in hopes for a last-minute LSU offer. Apparently LSU is waiting to see if they get the guys they want this morning. If they don't get them, they will issue some last-minute offers to try to fill their class. Link to comment
