Saunders
Nebraska fans will get an early start the day after Thanksgiving, as the Huskers' Nov. 25 contest with Iowa at Memorial Stadium is set for an 11 a.m. CT national telecast by ABC. The Huskers also learned that their Oct. 22 game at Minnesota will be televised by ABC with a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff. Link Quote Link to comment
knapplc
If they give Colorado the 2:30 slot I'm going to vomit. I hope neither the Buffs nor Utah are ranked for that game. Stupid ABC. Quote Link to comment

Street Novelist
watching football at 9:00 AM the day following Thanksgiving? Are you f'ing kidding me? Quote Link to comment
Apathy
This is a huge fail on the Big Ten's spot. Sure Miami and Boston College have the 2:30 slot but give a regional 2:30 time slot for the Husker game. Quote Link to comment

Sure Miami and Boston College have the 2:30 slot but give a regional 2:30 time slot for the Husker game. Can't. Big 10 rules state that they have to be national. If it's an abc regional, there has to be a reverse mirror on ESPN or ESPN2. Here's the other games for that day. Friday, November 25th Arkansas at LSU 1:30 p.m. CBS (HD) / cbssports.com Akron at Western Michigan TBA ESPNU (HD) or espn3.com Boston College at Miami 2:30 p.m. ABC (HD) California at Arizona State 9:15 p.m. ESPN (HD) Bowling Green at Buffalo TBA ESPNU (HD) or espn3.com Eastern Michigan at Northern Illinois TBA ESPNU (HD) or espn3.com Kent State at Temple TBA ESPNU (HD) or espn3.com Louisville at South Florida TBA (ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2) (HD) Pittsburgh at West Virginia TBA (ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2) (HD) Toledo at Ball State TBA ESPNU (HD) or espn3.com Quote Link to comment

Nebula
I'm not thrilled with this development, but it kind of seemed like the writing was on the wall once the Miami-BC matchup was locked into place. Really, my main hope was that we would continue our tradition of playing on the Friday after Thanksgiving, and we got to keep that. I can live with it, even though it seems like NU-Iowa is 10x a better game than the perenially mediocre Eagles vs Miami. Oh well. Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
With the announcement of Minnesota being on ABC. I'm thinking there may only be one game on the BTN (UT-C). Thinking that Fresno, Michigan State and Northwestern will be on the ESPN family of networks. Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
Well that sucks for the Iowa game, but atleast it's still on Fri.
