VA Husker Fan
Plus the Wyoming game isn't on BTN, fwiw. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
I don't buy it, to be honest. I know the coaches have been doing some wacky things (on offense running the same play over and over until the players do it right, for example). However, if this is truly an excuse, it's about as annoying as hearing "the offense did bad because we played vanilla!" If we can't execute the most basic of plays, then it means we can't consistently execute the more challenging and complicated ones. I think our defense is just performing below expectations. We'll see how they do this week with Dennard back and Crick most likely out, though. Quote Link to comment
Skull&Bones
Pelini brothers holding back on the defensive side of the ball? Not a humping chance!! They have way to much pride to not push those guys to the limit every down. I beleive we are just that rusty...No Joke!! Quote Link to comment

Defensively, probably not, but then again, they're are probably plently of tricks up their sleeve.... Offensively I'm not so sure we have to do anything spectacular when we start playing the big boys Quote Link to comment

DaveH
Whole reason I mentioned this, I was watching BTN live, and they were talking about the Wyo game. They mentioned Wyo, but seemed to focus just as much, if not more, on the upcoming Wisc and tOSU. That's awesome Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
that's not a stretch! this is a stretch: Quote Link to comment
irafreak
I'd also like to add to the defense of the defense. We've also switched to an uptempo offense and this has provided the opposition with more chances to make plays on our defense so our defensive ranking thus far looks better to me. shyndy
idk we let offense have lots of chances with our old 3 and out offense too. what I would say is different, is that when your offense is scoring, it forces the other team to be more aggressive. 1 Quote Link to comment
