walksalone
1, First 37 minutes, our defense was awful 2. This team apparently has more heart than anyone gave them credit for 3. T-Mart, appreciate him trying to show some life 4. Burkhead is the Goddamn Man 2 Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
Never ever give up! Huskers have heart, and Rex is a powerhouse! 1 Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Martinez can play well when put in the right situation and offensive play calling. He's also tougher than I thought, he took some serious shots tonight. Burkhead is a f'ing stud! 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
SJB needs to see more playing time at CB Quote Link to comment
redout22
We can fight We are undoubtedly a second half team Quote Link to comment
The King
1) SJB could be a really good corner in the future. Kind of reminds me of Fonzie. 2) Huge confidence builder for both the offense and defense. I think we start to see some more consistent defensive play. Problems still are there though. 3) Beck is getting better as a play caller - compare the first and second halves... night and day. I think the diamond formation play action really opened everything else up. 4) Lavonte David, Rex Burkhead - straight up winners. refuse to lose. 5) We got heart. 6) Cassidy has got to go... 7) Too many negatives to list in the 1st half of the game. If you want a lesson on how to be the worst possible team we can be, look at that half. Quote Link to comment
huskerjack23
I hope the defense can stay this way when we get back to playing mobile quarterbacks. Which it seems like the rest of them do except for PSU (without Bolden) and Iowa. Quote Link to comment
bshirt
Beck is starting to figure things out. Against a damn fine defense too. This offense is gonna be a LOAD soon.... GBR!! Quote Link to comment
MNSker
With a fast D like tOSU, it was good to see them get out of the pistol in the second half and put Taylor under center. Those few extra yards behind the LOS can be a big difference maker, one way or the other. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
In the words of Winston Chruchill. Never, never, never give up. Quote Link to comment
HuskerCarter
I learned that I underestimated Ohio State's defense. I did not think that they were real good, not compared to Wisconsin at least. I learned that the offense has some great motivation and never gives up. I learned that once Bauserman came in, our secondary looked great. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Ohio St does have a very good D, just glad we came out on top Quote Link to comment
treyball3
I learned that Bo is still a jerk at post-game press conferences. Quote Link to comment
HuskerElse
1. I learned that Martinez IS in fact growing as a qb... Showed great improvement 2. Our defense might have got it's swagger back 3. SJB should be our other starting corner 4. Lavonte may have saved the entire season on one play Quote Link to comment
bshirt
I learned that Bo is still a jerk at post-game press conferences. I learned that once again I couldn't care less that Bo isn't PC with the media. 3 Quote Link to comment
