atgoconnor
Of all these hyped high schoolers that Nebraska is after who do we actually have the N on.Whats the expectation on this recruiting class is it going to be a bunch of high motor 3 stars or do we strike gold for once on a 5 star (aka gods thumb nail ) kind of athlete..From everything I hear we are after a lot of top heavy talent according to star rankings ..So whats the big difference than the last 4 yrs of recruiting to me its just smaller and more people focus on the individual than the group we are bringing in... So to all you bloggers and arm chair recruiters who does The N actually get if you had to put money on it. Quote Link to comment

HuskerJax
If we land Fuller, Peat, Valentine and Lambert this class is a huge success. Come on guys commit already! Any others on the list would be great additions too, but those are the four I want most. I think with Fuller and Armstrong we would have a shot to have one of the two be a game changing QB. Don;t get me wrong, I like Tmart, but I still don't think he is a QB. Tommy looks like he will add the forward pass to our offense, and Fuller looks like he is a freak. If Fuller proves he can throw the ball he could add a Vick type presence to our offense and with all the other young potential on that side of the ball we could be unstoppable. With Seisay added and the other commits on defense, I like the looks of this class. Add Lambert and possibly Afalava and we have the makings of a dominant defense (Diggs and Beaver would solidify this) I really think the future looks bright. Next year may be another rough one unless Tmart learns how to throw and become a legit dual-threat QB. But after next year I see us really kicking some doors in. Quote Link to comment
nathanwindu
Realistically: Andrus Peat 5* Devin Fuller 4* Quanzell Lambert 4* Avery Moss 3* Nate Iese 3* Vincent Valentine 3* Raymond Ford 3* Alonzo Moore 3* Jared Afalava 3* (Likely Academic Casualty, but I see him committing) Longshot: Jordan Diggs 4* Brian Nance 4* Brandon Beaver 4* Including Afalava, that'd put us at 18, which is one more than I thought they would probably take, which is why I see Afalava not making it, but he could be a part of next year's class, ala Braylon Heard, Charles Jackson, etc. Quote Link to comment

I can understand that mindset, but I think with this one, we'll be ok....Westerkamp's parents are both huge ND Fans, devout Catholics, and from the area, so I can at least understand the pressure he's under there. With Fuller, yes, he was a ND Fan growing up, but Kenny Bell was (and still is) a Colorado fan, as an example. Fuller is from NJ, and ND is coming late for this one. I just don't see them being able to convince Fuller to come, especially when he doesn't fit their offense very well as a QB, which is what he wants to be. I would see Rutgers more as a threat at this point then Notre Dame, but you never know, things change. But until there's strong signs he's leaning towards ND, then I would change my view, but for now, he seems like a 75-25 NU-Rutgers battle. Quote Link to comment
