It seems like many times in baseball if a team has a bunch of hits in a game, the next game they get flat. I dont understand why but it just seems like this happens more times than not.

Because in baseball failing 7 out of 10 times is considered successful. Hardest thing to do in any sport is hit a 90 mph fastball.
