Good to see the LeBron hate still being thrown around for no reason

Po gave reasons.

Yeah, and nobody cares, just watch the games...he's a phenomenal athlete and I couldn't care less what he does off the court. He isn't hurting anyone or breaking laws. Lebron "acting like a douche" or whatever has a huge effect on how a lot of people view his basketball skills which makes debating his basketball skills with anyone almost pointless

I wasn't talking about his basketball skills or why I dislike him and the Heat. The poster was wondering why Lebron takes so much heat for not coming up big at the end of games and players like KD don't. I gave him examples of why people give Lebron more crap for not being a clutch player and not KD. Ultimately, it comes down to those things. LJ didn't get this much heat in Cleveland and he was actually a very well liked player (I really enjoyed him as a Cav. I still remember that ECF vs. the Pistons. Amazing series!)

I hear ya. I guess I'm just sick of the conversation. That other poster wasn't asking for reasons...he was asking a rhetorical question in order to prove a point - that a bias against LeBron exists. Which we all know anyway.

FWIW I'm really not a fan of any NBA player or team besides Dirk (nor do I hate anyone really besides Artest) but I did have somewhat of a liking towards Lebron in Cleveland. I did dislike what he did and rooted against the Heat last year. But the more I watch and think about it, the more I don't care. The last year has brought into perspective a lot of reasons to hate sports figures - and what LeBron has done is pretty far down the list.

The new media culture now has made things a lot worse I think. You need to get hits on your twitter handle or blog site, and by talking about how much of a choke artist LeBron is, you're likely to get more attention than if you just say, "well, he didn't come through this time but that's ok, it happens to the best of 'em." And as sick as I am of the conversation, here I am participating in it. Sad day.

Anyway, let there be basketball!

ESPN's pregame stuff sucks so bad compared to TNT's. You go from watching Charles and Shaq tearing it up one night to watching Wilbon and Magic just being boring and terrible

Yeah TNT realizes no one cares about breakdowns in the NBA. Let some big personalities go do their thing and you get a great show.

Not too mention, their gone fishin' segment brings a smile to my face everytime!

LeBron's defense is maybe the biggest reason why he's the best player in the game. That, and the fact that everyone just looks at PPG while ignoring rebounds, assists, blocks. Huge first quarter from Lebron, Heat looking good

He's still a bag of douche.
