Ratt Mhule
I know there are some posters here who have been watching the NBA playoffs, so Im just curious to find out everyones thoughts and picks to win it all this year. First of all, the Bulls, with the injury to Derrick Rose and down 2-1 are struggling to find offense. They played half the year without him and did just fine, but now in the playoffs, they are struggling. They better have someone step up quick or they may lose this 1-8 seed series. The Heat now have a clear path to the NBA finals for the second year in a row with Rose being out for the Bulls (assuming the Bulls even make the ECF). The only thing stopping them once they sweep the Knicks are the Celtics. It pains me to say this but the Heat will be in the NBA finals again, I think. If you've been reading my status updates and some posts last year, you should know Im a Dallas/Dirk fan. Im embarrassed by their performance in Game 3. No heart, no effort. Im shocked by this considering they had both game 1 won if it wasnt for a lucky Durant shot (even he said he couldn't see the rim when he put it up) and game 2 came down to the wire and they would have won had they hit some wide open shots (Im looking at you Dirk and you Kidd). Sorry, but it was a huge mistake by Cuban to get rid of Chandler and JJ Bareas and pick up Lamar Odom and Vince Carter Its time for Marion, Kidd and Carter to go. Bring in some young talent and build off Dirk/Terry. Im looking forward to watching Lakers/OKC series, I think OKC makes it to WCF where they will play...the Spurs (barf). Although if the Spurs make it to the NBA finals, I have no choice but to cheer for them against the Heat. If there is one team I hate more than the Spurs, its them. However, I think OKC represents WC in the finals against the Heat. Go WC! Quote Link to comment

Lil' Red
The Heat pretty much have the East locked up but it will be interesting to see who emerges out of the West between the Thunder/Spurs. You can probably throw in the Lakers as a dark-horse candidate for the West as well. Quote Link to comment
MLB 51
I'm a Lakers fan but I don't see them getting past OKC. Oh, I hate the Heat. Quote Link to comment

Congrats to them on the sweep and Cuban screw you for ruining the season by giving up young talent for dinosaurs. Also, tonight is a must win for the Bulls. If they lose tonight, its over. They will not beat the Sixers three times in a row without Rose. Rip Hamilton needs to have a great game and CJ Watson/John Lucas need to get the offense going much quicker. You can't dribble the ball at the top of the key until 10 sec. left in the shot clock and expect to be successful. Those are situations when Boozer is taking outside jumpshots and air balling them. Not a good offense for the Bulls right now. Quote Link to comment

I would love for the Knicks to come back and win the series but that would take a miracle at this point. They have to go back to Miami for game 5, so it's as good as over. I'm just rooting for the Celtics to keep playing good bball, and I think they can beat the Heat. Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
Coach Tibs does not deserve to win that series the way he coached...which was terrible btw. Keeps Rose in with the game in hand and he gets hurt. Tonight he has Asik, prob. the worst free throw shooter in the NBA in the game while Kyle Korver sits the bench. Stupid coaching is the reason Bulls lost this series. Quote Link to comment

Ratt Mhule
I hate Andrew Bynum. The guy is a cocky bum. I don't mind the Lakers except he is on the team. I lost all respect for the guy with his cheap shot to JJ Barea last year and this year with all his suspensions/fines. And then he goes on to say close out games are easy. Well Bynum, you really backed up your words and played awesome in game 5 and tonight! Quote Link to comment
