tschu
Alright, decided I'd just make a thread. Might bring out at least a little bit of discussion as far as which ones people liked and disliked, as well as what people hope will be made into stories either right now, or, say, 20 years in the future. From the first round, my favorites were 5. Winning Time (Reggie Miller vs. the Knicks) 4. The Best that Never Was (Marcus Dupree) 3. Four Days in October (2004 Red Sox ALCS) 2. Pony Excess (SMU Death Penalty) 1. The U (Miami, Duh) They kept on making more good documentaries after the series technically ended, too. I loved Fab Five and the Steve Bartman one, Catching Hell. I'm not so much into the ones that explored deep personal and societal issues, like The Marinovich Project, Without Bias, and Once Brothers (eh, I guess Once Brothers was pretty good, just not my favorite flavor). But many people enjoy those and they're worth watching. However some (Unmatched, Jordan Rides the Bus) just plain sucked. Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
I liked the Scott Hall one. Edit: that was e60 I guess Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
The Best That Never Was is my fav. Also liked the glimpses into recruiting. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Marcus Dupree, The Best that Never Was. It was my favorite. I liked all the others about the same. Which is to say I like them more than most stuff on the espn. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Hands down the U. They were all pompous asses, but we can all admit that we'd trade places with them in a heartbeat. They were good and they knew it. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Excellent series. Fun to relive the stories you know pretty well (Winning Time, Four Days in October) and fill in a lot of details where you knew the headlines but not the rest of the story (Pony Exce$$, The Best that Never Was, Without Bias, Guru of Go). MLB 51
Marcus Dupree and Catching Hell. Anybody else get to see Dupree run the ball. Dude was awesome. Atleast when he hung on to the ball. Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
The Fab 5 episode is one of the best I've ever seen. Quote Link to comment

MLB 51
Jalen Rose is the one I detest the most. The Pony express was really good. Makes you wonder how much of that still happens. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Hands down the U. They were all pompous asses, but we can all admit that we'd trade places with them in a heartbeat. They were good and they knew it. Au Contraire, mon frère.. I remember watching it and being thankful we weren't winning like that. Quote Link to comment

Man, he was so deceptively fast...Looked like he was just jogging but was covering so much ground... Quote Link to comment

knapplc
I liked the Marcus Dupree episode, The U episode and the Pony Excess episode. Both the Miami and SMU episodes reminded me why loving college football is so difficult sometimes. Quote Link to comment
