Redman
Well, my wife and kid got the better of me today, and I was only able to listen to bits and pieces of the game. It sounded like NU started of good, but did not have a great second half. Part of what I missed was Taylor's injury. How did it happen and how bad is it? Is it possible he will be back against CU? HSKRNOKC
He got clocked on a bootleg going for the first down. They were whisperings of a concussion. He was down for a while. The coaches after the game said that he was acting normal, but he was going to get examined by the doc. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
Yea, that didn't look good for a while. It was good to see him walk off, I was sure the John Deere was coming out. The crowd started chanting TAYLOR while he was down, that was cool. I hope he is OK! Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
Well heres a picture (below) of what he was like on the field after the hit and he DID NOT MOVE. It's reported he got up waved at his parents and wanted back in the game and they wouldnt let him. It was most likely a concusion. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
While we are on the subject of Taylor. I would like to congratulate him on setting the record for passing yards today. How ironic is it that a fella from Norman OK is the leading season passer in Husker history. Not to mention the other records he has set. Zac is one tough hombre. I respect the guy immensely and congratulate him. Here's to you Mr. Taylor. Quote Link to comment
huskergriff
Zac has done an incredible job this year, a true bright spot for the huskers. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
YEAH THAT WAS NOT A GOOD PICTURE TO SEE THEN I THOUGHT IT WAS ALL OVER WHEN THE TRUE FRESHMAN CAME IN AND WENT 0 FOR 5 STARTING OUT. Quote Link to comment

TheKiD
At first I was thinking this might've been something really bad. When a player is down sprawled out on their back... not moving, and seemingly unresponsive. The thought of neck/spinal cord injury was crossing my mind. When I saw him get up to his knees, I was so freaking relieved. This has to be a concussion. Quote Link to comment
clone
Concussions are scary, basically your brain bangs against your skull. I hope he's good to go against CU. The clones need NU's help. GO CALLY!! Quote Link to comment
Huskrz65
Yes, congrats to Zac Taylor on his performance today! It is quite unusual to have a Norman, Oklahoma native setting Nebraska records. My hat is off to you too, Zac. My hat is also off to the sportmanship of the Wildcat defense which showed concern for Zac's well-being after the play was over. It was mentioned by the announcers that players from KSU made physical gestures to Zac as he left the field, commending him on his effrot and wishing him the best. The picture above says it all. Zac, here's to a speedy recovery and an even quicker 5-step drop against CU for a Husker win! Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
21-31 over 200 yards passing and he is now the single season passing leader in NU history Quote Link to comment
Nate
Zac got knocked the fook out Quote Link to comment
Scarlet"N"Cream
Zac is one tough player! Thank God it wasn't worse; spinal injury or something else! Built like a rock. Wonder if he drives a Chevy? Quote Link to comment
skersfan
-Congrats to Zac, he truly is a class act. But mentioning that, I heard that Coach Snyer walked to the center of the field and told him great game, and numerous KSU players did the same. Possibly some of their fans are not the best but it sounds like the staff and players of KSU are pretty good people. We owe them a thank you for their concern. Quote Link to comment
