girlknowsfootball
Next year could be fun. Here's why: WR Jordan Westerkamp (best hands on the team. good enough to play this year) Alonzo Moore (killlling it on scout team. hard to stop) Jamal Turner (getting better each game. Will be a JR next year) Kenny Bell (we already know... this kid will go to the NFL) Quincy Enunwa (same as Bell) QB Tommy Armstrong (Martinez may start.. but this kid will see the field and light it up) RB Ameer Abdullah (our future starter... our Jhavid Best... minus the concussions) Imani Cross (our bulldozer... once the lights come on next year... look out) Braylon Heard (wait till he gets a chance to shine. he runs like Reggie Bush) LB David Santos (will be our star LB next season) Zaire Anderson (don't forget about this one folks... he get's 2 more years and he get's it now) Young Mysteries (Afalava, Brown, Rose, Banderas, McWilson, Love) CB Ciante Evans (he's baaaaack... and is now a lock down guy) Jonathan Rose (Here comes the SEC to Nebraska... Coach Joseph shines when talking about this one) SJB (the light's coming on) Mo Seisay (he's healthy so we see the real him) HOLD UP.... Do you realize we could have a 2013 RED AND WHITE Defense with a LOVE, VALENTINE, ROSE, ROSE? Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
Afalava (LB), Micheal Rose (LB), Jonathan Rose(S), Charles Jackson(CB), Vincent Valentine(DL) and Aaron Curry(DL) all have break out next year, thats if they get starting positions, which is highly possible for all of them. I would even say Chase Rome could break out and have a career setting year, with some time with the S&C coach. HOLD UP.... Do you realize we could have a 2013 RED AND WHITE Defense with a LOVE, VALENTINE, ROSE, ROSE? Yes Lol, but I doubt you will see Love on the field as a true freshman, possibly just during the Red/Wite scrimmage game. Same with Banderes and Newby. Most likely get redshirted. I want to see what Gangwish, Pirman and Roach are all made of as well. Gangwish was suppose to make an impact but had an injury during camp. Will be nice, thats for sure. Quote Link to comment

Coaches recruited him as a DB/S, but with the talent that will be leaving, he will be filling their shoes. Supposedly a complete stud and knows what he is doing. Quote Link to comment

Husker from Kansas
going out on a limb here, Braylon Heard, but not as a rb, no sir, as a nickel back. With AA and cross sharing time I just dont see heard getting alot of pt if he stays at the rb spot. The kid was a stud corner in high school, and he will come in and surprise us all as the #1 nickel next year! Quote Link to comment
ADS
Mike Nobler, but seriously I expect to see Avery Moss play a ton next season. And make a huge impact in the pass rush. Quote Link to comment

Fuzzy
I am gonna take the safe route and go with Seisay. Hasn't really clicked into the secondary, it may be a mental thing of him learning the defense. I think he will really break out next season. I can't imagine him being a quiet JUCO kid like Joseph Carter. Quote Link to comment
