PaulCrewe
I can't remember the last time a receiver won the Heisman. Tim Brown maybe? Desmond Howard Didn't he rerun kicks and play both sides? Howard just returned kicks and punts outside of receiving. Charles Jackson played done on offense togo with returning and playing DB. However the offensive move didn't really pick up stream until her was being mentioned a lot for the Heisman Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
Charles Woodson, not Jackson. He, not her. Every receiver I can remember was a major threat on kick returns as well as a standout pass catcher. Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
LOL...I really choked on this thread. Next time I'll let my game fueled enthusiasm pass and do some "thinking" before I post. It surely does not make sense now. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
How about the team just wins a bunch of games next year? Quote Link to comment
Husker no ka oi
If megaton can't win it, then Mr bell has no chance Quote Link to comment
Vizsla1
No for Bell, but he sure brings a high level of excitement... Taylor will definitely be in top 10 and we could see a running back in the discussion as well. Quote Link to comment
husker07
Larry Fitzgerald was the best college receiver I have ever seen, and despite having an incredible final season could not win it. I love Bell, but no receiver will win the heisman without 2,000 yards and a couple big special teams tds. Like previously stated, an all american nod, or even all conference would be great. Who was the last NU receiver to be 1st team all conference? Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Only if he returns kicks and punts full time and returns several for touchdowns. Taylor will be in the conversation next season. Quote Link to comment
NUance
double double I have heard you usually have to party double for one of those Yeah, I was doing double-duty partying yesterday. After the dominating win--for a change. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMav11
Not to take anything away from Kenny, as the kid is an amazing athlete for our program, but no. Just no. Maybe if he works on his punt returning, but still....no. Quote Link to comment
Huskerlambs
We run too much for Bell to win the Heisman, but I would love to see him be a three-time Big Ten First Teamer. Quote Link to comment
simplekin
I think Ameer Abdullah has the best chance at a Heisman. Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
Taylor will be 2nd team all conference. Braxton will be first team. Quote Link to comment
huskerscott
No way Bell is heisman material. We don't even have a guy in the 2 deep right now that could potentially win the heisman. TMart no doubt is having is best year and is not even getting a sniff at the heisman. Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
If megaton can't win it, then Mr bell has no chance didnt he play on an option oriented Georgia Tech team? Quote Link to comment
