huskerscott
I'm prepared for our defense to be "gutted like a fish" Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
Saw one of the Georgia players mention after the game last night that they were and I'm paraphrasing here "Take it out on whoever we play next" Yeah, an angry team that has more talent that we do at every single position, and a coach who is light years better than what we have. Can't wait for the sunshine pumpers to make the case for how this is a win.... 4 losses. 3 of which will be embarrassing. I'd say that the loss to UCLA was pretty embarrassing given that they rolled up over 600 yards of offense. If they had any resemblance of a red zone offense, they would have scored 70, as well. strigori
I'll be one of the lone voices of optimism - if Pelini and company want to start making amends, then this is a great opportunity against a near Top 5 opponent. While this wouldn't take away the loss, it will help. It will be put on Pelini to have a solid gameplan, as even NU admin knows we can't see that level of out-coaching and game planning two games in a row. Do you really think that Pelini can out coach Richt? He's got the same odds of doing that as I do of outrunning Usain Bolt. Quote Link to comment
mrandyk
The team that was 5 yards away from the National Championship? Great. We couldn't even handle the team that was 5 wins away from the National Championship. 1 Quote Link to comment
Whistlebritches
Before last nights debacle I would have been cautiously optimistic that we could maybe hang with Georgia. But after last nights performance I don't see any reason to believe it's going to be anything but another huge embarrassing loss. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
Nebraska would take a bad angle and get out run by the morbidly obese bulldog on the sideline. That team is going to core out our defense and likely not break a sweat in doing so. And that's to say nothing of what might happen to Taylor. Quote Link to comment
Klondike Cat
Anyone have a spell book from which you can conjure up a miracle? We need one. Quote Link to comment

Maybe we should just start RKIII and keep Taylor healthy for the offseason. Or run the Rexcat for the entire game. Quote Link to comment

iamthenorm
Bowl game winners are usually determined by who is more motivated to be there. Maybe, just maybe that will be Nebraska. Didn't Georgia get run by Sparty just a couple years ago. But then again, talent and coaching may play through and we'll be in the same position a month from now. Quote Link to comment

4skers89
I think I'll leave the country for this one. Our team is like radiation, the only way to protect yourself is minimize the time you are exposed to it and keep your distance. Just kidding, but we have no chance. I was already planning on being overseas. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
I just hope the dept is watching. A team in red that is bigger, faster and stronger just lining up and beating the Hell out of the other team., piling up yards and points. Take notes Eichorst. It's what Nebraska used to be, and needs to be again. Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
If the spread is anything less than 27pts I'd be shocked. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
If this holds true, here's my prediction GA: 63 NU 24 Quote Link to comment
