Sophomore Andre Hollins leads UM in scoring at 14.2 ppg, including a 41-point effort against Memphis which is the highest scoring effort in the Big Ten this season. Mbakwe is the lone starter not in double figures, but he leads the Big Ten in rebounding at 8.7 per game and is fourth in field goal percentage at .595. In Big Ten play, he is averaging 11.4 rebounds per game, which is nearly two more than any other player. The Gophers are third in the Big Ten in scoring offense at 73.2 points per game, but have been deadly on the glass, out-rebounding opponents by over nine rebounds per game. Minnesota leads the Big Ten and is among the national leaders in offensive rebounding with 15.8 boards per game. 2 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Minny has lost their last four after starting 15-1. We might as well make it five. They also recently lost to NW by 7 (we beat NW by 15) so I'm expecting a 22 point W for the Huskers. The Gophers also get 2.0 points and 3.1 boards in about 13 minutes per game from 6-11 Soph. and Chadron, NE native Elliott Eliason. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
I'm not expecting a win, but anything is possible Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
P.S., if you guys like the game threads, I'll do them for the rest of the year. Keeps me in condition for when I do ones during football season. 2 Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
They have a ton of talent but play sloppy ball. Could upset them but will be hard to do at the barn. Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
Looking at the standings we could finish number 8-9 in the final standings which would be very impressive for this year. Quote Link to comment
Comish
Really feel they are a tough match -up for us athletically. Just like Illinois, they see us as a streak stopper. LOVE to be wrong, but I feel this will be extreemly tough for us. Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
I like the game threads. I probably will be at the gym during the game but might get back in time to partake. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
We need to beat a ranked team sometime this season Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
After the way Miles has had this team get up for games like Michigan and MSU, I don't see any reason why they won't be up for this game. If Minny is known for sloppy play and our guys take advantage of it, an upset is possible. Go BIG RED!!!!! Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
I am thinking we are going to get killed. They are athletic and rebound well which is a match up problem for us. Our only chance is to get them to turn the ball over IMHO Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
I'll be able to watch tonight's game. We haven't won a game that I've watched yet this year. Not good. Quote Link to comment
