MLB 51
Big 10 RB's Ball (Broncos) and Bell (Steelers) went to some teams where they can do well. Geno Smith to the Jets is fine if they are done with Sanchez. Chargers are alright (I like addition of Fluker and Te'o was picked up right where he should likely have gone). I like the Rams draft and Ravens are reloading on defense. Teams struggling IMO are the Cowboys, Dolphins, Saints, and Raiders (seems like they are always a draft mess though). I give the Raiders a B+ so far. I personally would hve taken Jarvis Jones in the first and John Jenkins in the third. I think Sio Moore at 66 was steal though. I'd have to concur, primarily because the Raiders made it through the first 3 rounds without making a "What the F*ck" pick... Sad to think Al Davis had to die for that sh#t to stop. T_O_Bull
No Huskers taken in the first 3 rounds. We have 7 listed as prospects but none are rated very highly. What's the chance we get shut out? 4 rounds to go. T_O_B Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
LOL LOL LOL Jets..... If you are in NY, watch out for falling Jets fans... what could the Jets do with a running qb? They have a mediocre QB and a bad QB already, so another mediocre one sounds like a Jets move. Who needs WR, TE, or RB.... As a Patriots fan I love the Jets draft. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Patriots fan here too. Admittedly Dude is right. I don't know if Geno Smith will be good or not but if he is that's not a bad place to draft him. I wasn't thinking they were planning on getting rid of Sanchez at the time. If they are it seems like a real mess. Nothing that they can't pull through if Geno is a star, but from this vantage point it looks like a long-term mess there. Quote Link to comment

Exceptions: OSU and Stanford. None of the bottom 5 have a pick. Outlier - LSU, the most picks but at #14, did the least with the most talent (poor coaching?) Louisville did the most with the least talent? Quote Link to comment
Excel
If you were a lock to be drafted in the first round, would attend the actual draft or would you rather be at home with your family and friends? I think I would rather be at home with my family friends, that way you don't have a camera shoved in your face watching you sweat it out all night. Unless I was going to be #1 overall, then I would probabl go to NYC. I would go fishing like that O-lineman from Wisconsin a few years back. Just be out there relaxing with a couple of buddies, no radios or anything. Then when I came to shore with a mess of fish people could tell me where my new home would be. That's badass, who is it? Joe Thomas, drafted by the Browns...been to every pro-bowl since he was drafted in 2007. http://www.pantagraph.com/sports/professional/no-pick-joe-thomas-spent-draft-day-fishing/article_18838568-4cc3-5b93-bb65-a191de962b40.html Quote Link to comment

zoogs
2 WRs for New England. I hope one of them pans out. Two prospects taken later rather than earlier (Round 2, 4) so there's not as much riding on them, but a lot of options in that WR corps now. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
After watching Tyrann Mathieu's interview last night, I understand why teams were taking him off their board after his team interviews. Wowee. Quote Link to comment

One of the understated aspects of the Patriots years of playoff appearances is the ineptitude of the rest of the division. If New England wasn't well run, this wold be the run away worst division in the NFL. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Rex is a Bengal. That's good in that he'll get a chance to contribute, bad in that it's the Cincinnati Bengals. Quote Link to comment
