GSG
I think I might see Despicable Me 2 sometime this weekend Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Took Beavis and Butthead (my five and six year old boys) to Despicable Me 2 ain't gonna lie it was pretty good. Probably as good as the first. Then I promptly sped home slammed a beer and watched porn, just to, you know, feel manly again. Back to all seriousness I'd recommend Despicable 2 to people, especially those with children, or even as a get away date night movie Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
http://www.movieweb....arknado-trailer Tara Reid?! Ha, I was channel surfing last night and actually caught the last five minutes of this gem. Feel fortunate that it was no more than that. Man does Tara Reid look rode hard and put away wet. She used to be hot. Now it's like a meth addict with makeup. Quote Link to comment
NUinID
I think this movie looks great, I love British comedy. It can be very silly, yet dry at the same time. Quote Link to comment
Bradr
This is the End was entertaining, but probably wait for a red box unless you're bored I've heard the same about Pacific Rim from a Sci-Fi junky friend. Anyone see WWZ? Quote Link to comment
deedsker
WWZ was decent. More of a family friendly zombie movie being PG-13. It is less gritty and dark than you would expect from a zombie movie. The last 30 minutes is like a different movie from the beginning. If you enjoy blockbuster action films, I would go; otherwise, wait for Redbox. Quote Link to comment
Apathy
I've heard that Pacific Rim and Conjuring are actually amazing movies....might have to see both Quote Link to comment

Anyone see WWZ? Just saw Pacific Rim yesterday. Really if you like Sci-Fi and old Japanese monster movies it was great. It was far fetched, but very well made. Way better than the Battleship movie from last year and as good IMO as the first Transformer movie Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Going to movies is the part of my life that has went down A LOT because my gf doesn't really enjoy most movies. It's not worth the price of the movie ticket for her to take a nap. With that said, here are some of the movies I've had time to watch on my own recently: This is 40 - really liked it actually. There were some kind of depressing points, but I liked it. Silver Linings Playbook - pretty good. Different kind of movie, but anything with Jennifer Lawrence in it is probably going to be worth watching. Extract - Not a brand new movie, but I watched it today for the first time. Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis. I enjoyed it. Iron Man 3 - Went with a group of friends to the midnight release. Freakin' awesome. Want to see: Now you see me, World War Z, Pain & Gain, Despicable Me 2, Monsters U, probably more. Between the job and the gf not liking movies, I've really fallen behind on movie watching. JJ Husker
Well take this for what it's worth but my daughter and her friend said Grownups 2 was hilarious and better than the first one. I trust this review because my daughter has the same sense of humor that I do (but, she is a 13 yr old girl). Quote Link to comment

Seriously though, the first one was ok as a rental, but the best character in the movie isn't even in it. Rob Schnider was great in the first one. Personally I don't know how David Spade even gets a job. I don't find him the least bit funny. He always plays the exact same type of character. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, it's not the type of movie I would pay theatre prices for but the first one didn't suck so, if this one is as good or better, somebody might enjoy it. Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
Despicable me 2 was good. I also saw Dead Man Walking recently. Not bad. Quote Link to comment
