BigRedBuster
Any word on his injury? Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Said he was fine walking up the tunnel as reported by OWH reporter Sam McKweon Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Probably a good bruise .....hopefully nothing more like a separation Quote Link to comment
ZRod
Bo was asked about it at the post game press conference and before the reported could finish he blurts out "He's fine!" So he's probably going to need an amputation, but the good news is it's his left shoulder. Quote Link to comment
Hooked on Huskers
Perhaps stinger injury? Don't trust "He's fine" (Bo) Quote Link to comment
husker_rob
Seemed like at least a few series after that injury, he was handing off to the left with his right arm. Obviously was in a lot of pain. Arm just seemed to hang from his body at times, like there wasn't any strength in it. Seems like the kind of injury that might be nagging a lot through the year (continual contact). Martinez has certainly proved he's tough, but it looks like something to keep an eye on. As was pointed out, at least it's on his left. Quote Link to comment
Whistlebritches
I thought it was really odd to keep letting Taylor play when he was clearly injured. If we're going to hand the ball off 9 out of 10 plays then couldn't Kellog or Armstrong handle those duties? Yes, you lose the threat of Taylor taking it to the the house but he was doing everything he could to avoid contact. Quote Link to comment
Frida's Boss
My guess is bone bruise ...and if bo says he is fine there is a good chance he may die 3 Quote Link to comment

Huskinator
On the awesome Td pass to Q.....Taylor threw both hands up, and then immediately dropped his left hand and brought it to his bicep. The way he was holding it, leads me to believe, that maybe it's not shoulder and could also be worse. Cross your fingers ladies and gentlemen Quote Link to comment
GBRrodney
My guess is the injury happened in fall practice because it was obvious he was injured or in pain the medical staff didn't even look at it or ask him about it. Everyone just looked the other way and tried to ignore it because Bo said it was "fine". "He's fine" means the bone is not protruding through the skin, if he was "a little nicked up" the bone would be protruding from the skin and perhaps he might miss a couple of practices, but he "will be fine" which means they can push the bone back under the skin. I think the injury is why Martinez didn't go to the press conference because he would have to lie about it and he didn't want to get into it. I don't think he missed the press conference because of the team's performance, if that were true he would have missed half of last year's press conferences. Quote Link to comment
tman
What you didn't know is the "Elysium" miracle healer machine was a Husker prototype they used for the movie. They have a fully function healer in the locker room. The Husker Miracle Healer diagnosis reports indicate that "he's fine". Quote Link to comment

wilber24
#1 QB hurt the first game, not surprising, still has no sense of the pocket. More disturbing is Ron Kellogg warming up, gotta get Armstrong in the mix! Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
#1 QB hurt the first game, not surprising, still has no sense of the pocket. More disturbing is Ron Kellogg warming up, gotta get Armstrong in the mix! Hard time buying your first point, he was hurt on a design run play. And yes, need our QB of the future getting reps. Or is this Bo's strategy to keep another plan secret? Quote Link to comment
