shelly7783
Trying to surprise my boyfriend and bought tickets in section 5, row A. Was excited because I thought front row seats would be the very best and then read something where they aren't so great. Did I make a good choice? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Zaimejs
Did you enjoy the game? If so, well done. Quote Link to comment
Jim Hammer
I don't have an answer for you, but shouldn't you have asked this before you bought the tickets? Quote Link to comment
NUance
I'll need to sit in them a couple of times to tell for sure. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Yes, you bought bad seats. And you should feel bad. Quote Link to comment
ObamaRocks91
I have never seen a game from those myself but have heard it's difficult to see the game over the players on the sidelines. I believe the first 6 rows are pretty difficult to see game action but you get a good view of the players on the sidelines! Quote Link to comment
shelly7783
I don't have an answer for you, but shouldn't you have asked this before you bought the tickets? Yes, but I was trying to plan a surprise and didnt think about them being too close. No need to reply if you don't have an answer and are just going to be rude about telling me I should have asked first. Geez Quote Link to comment

Thanks for the answer though Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Don't sweat it. Any seat in the stadium would be a terrific surprise Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
Don't sweat it. Any seat in the stadium would be a terrific surprise exactly. it is not about watching the game as much as the experience. he will love it and you will have a great time. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Shelly, the rows with letters (A, B, C, D & E) are partially obstructed views of the field. They are the first five rows and, although they are the closest to the field, you miss some of the action because the players standing on the sideline block about 1/3 of the field. They're not terrible seats, and if your boyfriend likes sitting near the team then he's going to be pretty happy. He should be able to see his favorite players pretty well sitting there. Here's a seating chart. Your seats will be in the yellow strip closest to the field in Section 5, on the right-hand side of this image. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
He'll be AT the game and not watching the game on TV. He'll be thrilled. Enjoy the game and atmosphere Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
If he is anything like a lot of us Husker fans, he will be appreciative that you bought him tickets and will be on top of the action. I wouldnt fret too much about it.... That being said, if someone responds, dont snap on them.... "Jim Hammer" wasnt being rude, he was making a valid point. Quote Link to comment

Count 'Bility
Welcome to the board. Hopefully it's something you frequent. If so, you'll quickly realize that the initial responses and behavior is pretty norm for here. Smartassery is quite frequent. One things for sure. There's also plenty here that will provide honest and helpful responses just as much as the smartass comments. Quote Link to comment
