girlknowsfootball
I am getting kind of worried at this point. We have had hardly any visitors this year and have only had one away game. The interest in our program seems to have dropped off this year. We just don't have that many quality players ranking us in their top 5. It hasn't helped that we have had so many 11am games, an easy schedule against teams that aren't exciting, and virtually no national TV exposure. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
We have a lot of kids who are planning to visit but haven't been able to get here so far this season for any number of reasons - many of them aren't taking any visits to any school until their seasons are over. As their seasons drawn to a close, hopefully they will be able to get here for a November game or a December visit. If we don't start getting some visits in another month, it may be time to begin to worry. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER FREAK
How bad is this loss and the perception of the Bo Pelini era going to hurt us in recruiting? Quote Link to comment
WAHusker
a lot, talk of hot seat will turn off a lot of recruits. I would worry more about current commits looking elsewhere. Quote Link to comment

CMT1525
If we lose Mosley we essentially lose 2 DBS with Mosley here chans wazz was looking like a lock to commit Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
If Bo is replaced, chances are, the only way this recruiting class gets saves is if we bring in a big enough name that just the announcement of who it is stops a number of these recruits from looking around. I HATE coaching changes. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Speaking to the early kick times so far this year, apparently it's not only the kids having trouble getting here that makes it tougher for visitors. Els said they don't want to rush guys through their visit just to say they've had them here. They'd rather wait until they can be here for as much of the full 48 hours as possible, even if that means waiting until after their season is over. I'm sure you could lose a guy or two in the mean time but that makes pretty good sense to me. Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Things are not going well in recruiting. Hopefully the new staff can salvage a decent class after this debacle by Bo. Quote Link to comment

alwayshusking
Sorry not impressed with top 50 recruiting classes. Maybe we can flip a kid from UL Lafayette. Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
Sorry not impressed with top 50 recruiting classes. Maybe we can flip a kid from UL Lafayette. You are a lot like Hellen Keller swinging a baseball bat now. What was wrong with the 2010-13 classes???? 1 Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
What was so great about them? There's some talent sprinkled about but we're hardly loaded. This year we're mediocre on offense and bad on defense. Bo has had to play a bunch of young players on D because of his poor recruiting in the 2009-2011 classes. Having to depend on a bunch of freshmen to save him is not an enviable position, but he put himself there. 1 Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
How about the fact that the kids from the 2010-2013 classes are the ones playing and are responsible for the improvement we have seen thus far. I can break down kid by kid, but I'd like you to do it first. You seem to know much more than I. Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
I don't know our amazing staff seems to think Thad Randle is a better player than most of them so we don't see many of them at DT. Hopefully they're good so the next staff has something to build on. Quote Link to comment
