jamrinelli
I am very pleased with how our "make Shift" Offensive line played tonight. They did a great job of keeping Armstrong clean on that last drive and opened up some holes for AA. I know some people are not happy with the minimal amount of yards, but they played well enough to win the game with three starters out!!! Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
You said a mouthful there, buddy. It's like the 2nd string was playing and they came through bigtime. I'm really proud of those guys. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Obviously they weren't dominant, but I can't complain either with the injuries we have had to deal with. And I will say this as far as run blocking goes....A-Rod at RG was a truck. Quote Link to comment
Pasadena Husker
I heard Pellini's remarks during his post game that Sirles's injury is a sprain, similar to Cotton's. any idea when either of these guys will be back in the lineup? Quote Link to comment
81 NU Alum
really liked A-rod at guard today Quote Link to comment

If I remember correctly the term used was "a couple weeks" or something like that. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Moudy - Pensick - Rodriguez was a better interior than I expected. At least, better than Moudy - Pelini - Pensick. Â And for being inexperienced I thought Sterup came in and did an admirable job. Didn't notice any drop off when he came in. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Another thing we have to remember...Oline was going to be a question next year with Pensick, Long, Sirles, Qvale, A-Rod leaving, but with Moudy, Pelini, and now Sterup getting extra PT it can only help the future. Pasadena Husker
really liked A-rod at guard today I did too. I have, in general, been rather disappointed with his play considering the hype that surrounded him when he came to campus, but maybe he's found his niche as a mauler who runs into people and grinds away. Haspula
Thought zach sterup played well as well Quote Link to comment
husker_rob
Lots of adversity, and they found a way. Hats off to them. Quote Link to comment
GBR #1
I thought Sterup played extremely well. For those who think we don't have depth. Our three best linemen are now out, and I think we still have a serviceable O-Line. We got some good ones who will be available next year. I think things could be looking up for Nebraska in the near and distant future! Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Consisering all the injuries, the o-line performed admirably today. I just hope these guys stay healthy and possibly get 1 or 2 back for MSU. I have a feeling that is going to be a whole new challenge. Hopefully they've got another game of answering the call in them. Our o-line will be the most critical element this week. Quote Link to comment
