AgMarauder04
http://tamu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1574580 This article is about KEvin Sumlin at A&M, but it really explains why it's so rare that a coach moves from a program in a "Big 5" conference to another. WOrth the read. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Interesting. Wouldn't have guessed that it was that rare. Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
Me neither. IT sounds like the only real exception would be like a lower tier from one to another....like Indiana to USC, or something similar. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
It makes sense I guess. If you are a "lower tier" school of the big 5, you're likely to A. Get fired for doing a bad job, or B. Take a job upgrade. If you are a "top tier" school of the big 5, you are likely to get fired and go to a lower school or broadcasting for a year or 2, or stay where you are. Not a lot of science to it. Quote Link to comment

desertshox
Me neither. IT sounds like the only real exception would be like a lower tier from one to another....like Indiana to USC, or something similar. or TAMU to alabama. Quote Link to comment

No, but he did go to broadcasting for a year. Read a little carefully. Quote Link to comment
