JTrain
With today's offenses, quarterbacks have outrageous numbers and have a huge upper-hand over running backs. For a running back to win it, he has to: Be the best player on a top two team, AND/OR Have outrageous, eye-popping numbers, AND/OR Play in a year with a weak field of QBs #3 certainly won't be true next year, and #1 probably won't be true. So he'll have to try for eye-popping numbers. Andre Williams' 2100 yards wasn't quite enough to crack the top 3 this year. So maybe shoot for 2200, 300 receiving and being a top 10 team. I think that would crack the top 3. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
damn, you guys don't watch the news?? I do. I haven't seen any reports of rapists in college football. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
The only way to win the Heisman is to be the best QB (every once in a while an RB) on the best team) Simple as that. Not true. TAMU was #10 when Manziel won it. Baylor was #15 when RG3 won it. When Tebow won it they were 9-4 and #13. You have to be on a good team, but certainly not the best, or even top five. Ulty
Stupid list. NFL players aren't eligible for the Heisman! Quote Link to comment
JTrain
What Landlord is trying to say in an apparently-too-subtle and undoubtedly-too-long way is: Winston was never tried for, much less convicted of, sexual assault or rape. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
damn, you guys don't watch the news?? I do. I haven't seen any reports of rapists in college football. In basketball news...Kobe is still on the loose. Quote Link to comment
louisianared
Anybody but the rapist next year... There is a convicted rapist playing college football? Rapist, yes. Who is it? How did you determine that? Jeremy Hill, RB LSU http://collegefootba...l-undetermined/ He was also convicted of battery for jumping someone outside a bar while on probation. Judge moved his hearing to a day before football practice was to start in order for him to play. Les Miles allowed the team to vote him back on so he essentially didn't get punished. Blackshirts007
I think he mentioned his decision will be announced wednesday. Quote Link to comment

Do not let Jeremy Hill win the Heisman! In basketball news...Kobe is still on the loose. Kobe... you mean Kobe who was accused of rape but the only evidence whatsoever was the claim of the accuser who wouldn't testify, was wearing underwear with another man's semen and pubic hair, was on anti-psychotic drugs, and was hospitalized four months later as "a danger to herself"? He's a rapist? Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
If the Heisman keeps with the pattern of the last few years it will go to someone nobody expected. Did someone say marginally talented quarterback? Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
I think he mentioned his decision will be announced wednesday. This Wednesday or next? Jan 15th is the final day he could enter, so just wonder if he is planning to announce at the last minute. Quote Link to comment
