They've sold 47K tickets as of a few days ago. Probably have attendance at or near 60K this year.

 

There's a 40% chance of rain, and some severe thunderstorms are supposed to be in the area. Hopefully we don't have another 2012.

Expect about 100 plays in Saturday's scrimmage, give or take a few. Pelini said offense will be "dialed back" to not reveal new trinkets.

Hopefully timing is right because late Saturday, 90% chance of strong thunderstorms !!!

LOL! Accuweather said 60% and gusty winds (25-30mph) during spring game. In other words, WHO FREAKIN' KNOWS! My dad's forecast was more accurate than Accuweather, wunderground, weather channel, US weather bureau, etc

“It’s the only way we’re going to be able to function,” Pelini said of the offense/defense setup. “It’s only way we’re going to be able to protect certain guys we want to protect that we don’t want to give a lot of reps to…trying to field two teams wouldn’t happen right now. We have guys out at certain positions, we’re thin at certain positions, and we don’t want to put kids in position to get hurt. It’s a student-welfare type thing.”

 

Pelini said running back Ameer Abdullah and defensive end Randy Gregory would be two starters who will see limited time, if any. Quarterbacks will be protected in the pocket, but eligible to be hit once they leave the pocket. A number of players will miss the spring game with injuries, including defensive tackle Aaron Curry, who’s wearing a small neck brace after spraining his neck. Linebacker Marcus Newby sprained his back in Wednesday’s practice but Pelini expected him to play Saturday.

So does anyone think that Bo will try to get kicked out of the Spring game? You know so he doesn't feel left out after Miles gets kicked out of his last game and Erstad got kicked out of their game yesterday. It would be a little funny!
