Warrior10
Defensive ends Randy Gregory and Greg McMullen were among a few D-linemen who stayed late after practice Wednesday to run through a some drills. Gregory’s always carried himself with confidence. McMullen seems to have developed some of that as well over the offseason. “I know the system. I know what I’m doing,” McMullen said. “I’m much more comfortable. I’m confident. I’m ready to go.” Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Pelini said Jordan Westerkamp hit his head on the turf during Monday’s practice, so the sophomore receiver will be held out of workouts through Thursday. It’s a three-day evaluation period. Standard procedure, Pelini said. Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 22mFrom what I saw, Jamal Turner took no snaps at QB at #Huskers practice. It was probably because so many message board folk complained about it. I mean, you KNOW what kind of effect message board folk have on this football team, right Sipple? 1 Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
I heard on the radio that Josh Mitchell has been a real leader out there, holding others accountable and not afraid to speak up. Awesome to hear. I like this guys attitude. Quote Link to comment
lo country
I heard on the radio that Josh Mitchell has been a real leader out there, holding others accountable and not afraid to speak up. Awesome to hear. I like this guys attitude. Loved it against UGA. He plays much larger than his size. What NU really needs. Said he started this spring with some good old trash talking. Comments about UGA http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/gator-bowl-feisty-mitchell-helps-ignite-charged-up-nu-defense/article_bf41cb06-986d-5466-bfae- 41bbbdd88e0f.html Keep the updates coming. I enjoy reading what is going on instead of the re-hashed BS! Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 5m Let's just say Alex Lewis' motor runs hot. He's going to play through the whistle, at least. Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 1m Think about Lewis and senior Jake Cotton on the left side of the #Huskers offensive line. I personally like that thought. Tons of fire. Quote Link to comment
Nobody
sounds like alex lewis and randy gregory are going hard at eachother. bringin that fire. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 19m I like that the injured #Huskers (Alonzo Moore, Moudy, Danie Davie and Corey Cooper) stay very engaged in the practices. Especially Davie. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 25m Armstrong pitching to Abdullah on a traditional option play harkens to another era. Armstrong has a great gift in that regard. #Huskers Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 28m The battle is on for starting center job. #Huskers junior Ryne Reeves spent ample time with 1s today. Mark Pelini has experience edge. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
According to Sipple while ZoMoore isn't practicing full speed he must be at least doing drills. "Alonzo Moore hasn't practiced full-go yet this spring because of a shoulder issue. But he looks very close to full speed." Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 53m It was great to see Jamal Turner fielding punts in practice. I'd like to see him get another chance at that job. #Huskers Quote Link to comment

Warrior10
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 57m There can't be too many #Huskers with more upside than LeRoy Alexander, #Huskers sophomore safety. Size, strength, athleticism, want-to... A 2* who's only other offer was Toledo...and who some didn't think he could play here. Quote Link to comment

Awesome to hear. I like this guys attitude. This is definitely true! This kid has an attitude this year, and I love it. He has an interview out there saying how he isn't afraid to tell kids that they are messing up, what they are messing up, and he wants them to do the same if he is slipping. He stated he doesn't yell, because that isn't his job. He isn't the "yelling" type lol. Quote Link to comment
