Count 'Bility
Michigan will be looking for a new head coach in December. I see very little hope for Fred Flintstone (Hoke) at this point. Look at Hoke's resume and tell me what the hell was Michigan thinking hiring him? His record sucked at both schools prior to going to Michigan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brady_Hoke the couldn't pass up the savings on headsets and jackets. Seriously though. If Nebraska hired a guy with his record we'd throw a sh#t fit. At least when we hired Pelini he had no record so we had no idea what we were getting. LSU hired Nick Saban with a record that sucked. Worked out for them. They were replacing Dinardo. #expectations Quote Link to comment

He took to programs that sucked and turned them around. 2002 Ball State: Took over a team that hadn't had a winning season since 1996. 2008 San Diego State: Team was 2-10 the year before. Led them to 9-4 in year 2. Hadn't had a 9 win season since 1971 and hadn't played in a bowl game since 1998. The guy knows how to coach. Evidently just not a Michigan 1 Quote Link to comment

beanman
Sometimes a coach doesn't work out in a job. Happens Are you sure it was him that turned around those programs or was it his assistants? Because I don't see him coaching. I see him on the sideline with no headset on with a thumb up his rather large butt. 1 Quote Link to comment
killer cacti
I was just talking to my dad about problems at Michigan - no one can win there now. Rich Rod was successful before & after Michigan, but not there. Quote Link to comment
NUance
The thing is, Rich Rod had them headed in the right direction:___2008 3-9___2009 5-7___2010 7-6Hoke has 'em headed in the other direction:___2011 11-2___2012 8-5___2013 7-6 I don't particularly care for Meechicken that much. But it's a bit painful watching them twist in the wind like they are. Well, a tiny bit anyway. lol 3 Quote Link to comment

Mavric
That would be interesting but if he goes (which is unlikely), he'll have several offers to be HC somewhere else. Quote Link to comment
