SouthAfricanHusker
I guess it would be a win either way for us. If he goes to the NFL it's because he absolutely balled out this year meaning we likely had a championship kind of year. If not we still ge him another year. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
It's not that far fetched that he could leave if he has a monster year. Every year for the past several in a row record breaking numbers of underclassmen have been declaring early. It's not a trend that appears to be going away any time soon Quote Link to comment
husker_fan_from_sweden
Ok. Who honestly would have thought the d-line would be turned around this rapidly from the "put Cam Merideth at DT" situation a few years back? Quote Link to comment
Treand3
Vince has come a long way overall. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER FREAK
I think even if he has a monster year he may get a high draft evaluation, and may go, but I think it would be a mistake for him because he wouldn't be ready after one good to great season. But it would be pretty sweet if we had to worry about that after the season! Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Can't see him being ready to go pro after this year, not to where he'd get drafted early anyway, but the turnaround in conditioning and attitude can only help. I know we tried to land a juco this class but I think we're in good shape at DT, It's having two frosh in the two-deap at DE that's worrisome. Quote Link to comment

RedDenver
Are we really worried about a sophomore going pro based on him having a couple good games last year? Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
Are we really worried about a sophomore going pro based on him having a couple good games last year?It was a prediction I made. I said he's gonna have a great year and then turn pro. Gut feeling. Others are worried about it based on whether they agree with me or not. Quote Link to comment

VV needs to lock down a starting spot and show consistency this season - anything else is gravy. Quote Link to comment
IllinoisHuskerFan
He has the talent to I just think he needs another year to develope. He would get drafted in day 2-3 just on potential but why do that with eligibility left. He seems fairly intelligent and rolling the dice on a year early could cost millions in the long run... Aaron Donald was in the same boat a couple years ago, he obviously made the right decision. Quote Link to comment
