Hi there! I wrote that! I can assure you, 'typical' is not a word used to describe me. I would, however, like to thank you all for a little traffic boost. And also for all the glorious content here. This place is a gold mine, Jerry. GOLD!

Oh good, thanks for identifying yourself, this should end well. :snacks: 37-4, yeah right..............

I don't know WHY I'm explaining myself here, but I will because I don't feel like working right this second: I usually make 'serious' predictions (including correctly predicting that we'd lose to Northwestern - not a homer!). But ever since we bunduru'd Maryland and Rutgers, I've decided to assume that we're going to win EVERY game via blowout. It's more a nod to how well our defense is performing than anything else.

In short, if you think that I seriously believe that you will only score points via 2 safeties, then you're not as bright as you think you are.

PS - It's entertainment, man. Smile a little. It's Friday.

Please enlighten us why you thought that the Badgers would lose to NW, but will blow out Nebraska? Have you watched any Nebraska games this year besides the MSU game? There is a very high possibility of 2 more losses before the bowl for you guys.

Hooooo boy. Reading comprehension CAN be difficult. Let's try this again!

I thought we would lose to Northwestern because we ALWAYS struggle in Evanston. Once I saw the weather was gonna be crappy (cold/rain), it was basically a done deal in my mind. Plus we were starting McEvoy. At no point have I ever had faith in him. Picking Northwestern to win just made sense.

I gave Maryland too much credit (27 points). I gave Rutgers too much credit (16 points). So beginning with Purdue, I decided to start giving our defense respect and half seriously/half joking 'predicting' that our opponents would do nothing offensively.

Once that changes (tomorrow seems like a probable time for that given that Nebraska is not Maryland/Rutgers/Purdue), I'll go back to actually trying to 'predict' (a comical endeavor to begin with) the outcomes.

I'm not an expert and I do not claim to be one. I write to entertain. And I have no ill will towards Nebraska, even after reading all the trash on this thread. I personally enjoyed you joining the B1G, especially now that your hoops team is legit. Not to change subjects, but I hope Tim Miles sticks around for a while. His Twitter game is top shelf.

I was "officially concerned" about the Northwestern game.

1. Historically, Wisconsin has played badly in Evanston.

2. At that time, it was clear to all Badger fans (and maybe even the coaches) that Tanner McEvoy was not the answer at quarterback for Wisconsin.

3. Even if Joel Stave were to see action, he'd be rusty. He wound up playing the second half and managed to throw three picks.

Some of you may recall that when Nebraska lost to the Nerds in 2011 I posted here saying something like, you sometimes get weird results when playing those guys.

Don't get your panties all in a wad PureBWA  . Some of us on this board get a little edgy and take things very seriously, especially prior to big games. You know, like 2012 title games, and 2011 games at Camp Randall, and so forth... Haha.

Anyway, don't let those guys steer you away. Welcome to the board. We welcome opposing fans of all types, given they're not just trolls. We had a very regular Badger fan poster on here named Excel, but he's a bit of a shady fellow... and he's been MIA since the start of the season.

You certainly did have an interesting write-up. It struck me as half-blog, half-football. That's cool... I thought there was some good humor in your write-up.

I'm very excited to see how your defense stacks up with our offense. There's no doubt that statistically your defense is one of the absolute top units in the nation. but you certainly haven't played the toughest opponent. Then again, you shut out Rutgers and we gave up 24. I think it is obvious that we will be the best offense you face all year, and you are the top D we will see. Can't wait to see strength on strength!

I truly hope Abdullah is full-go because I don't want to feel like we were cheated out of an AA-Gordon matchup. Truly two of the best RBs in the game this year, and I want to see them both at 100%.

And yes, Miles is an excellent follow on Twitter. He's got an AWESOME demeanor for a coach and really helps the fans and players relate to him and like the guy as a person. He's just a very cool dude. I hope we lock him up long-term, but the way his entire career has gone, he's had success at every level and used it to propel himself up to the next level. Can't fault him for that, but if there's any team in the nation that could afford to break out the checkbook, it's probably us, and I hope we do.

Welcome again man, hopefully eventually all of us can settle our differences and just be like :wasted

They do that to everybody! I have Iowa friends who swear NW gives them the same type of fits. They're just always a very salty, oddly competitive team.

I remember watching that game slip away from you guys. It was very clear Stave was rusty as hell. Man he looked bad in that game.

I can assure you that my panties are resting comfortably around my loins. I'm more concerned with what I'm getting for lunch than anything said on here.

But thank you for your post. I think the dumbest thing in the world is judging an entire fan base on the actions of the extremely vocal minority. It's almost as if some people don't realize that EVERY fan base in the world has idiots that make everyone else look bad.

Here here. Agreed 100%. No way Gurley wins the Doak Walker. One of these two Big Ten guys should.

One odd thing I've seen lately, that probably is meaningless, but if it comes true you can be sure I'll quote myself and bump this thread, is that in recent weeks Gordon and Clement seem to be trading off big games. For example, Clement had the big game at Rutgers two weeks ago and Gordon the big last week at Purdue.
