ECoastHUSKR
You are a head coach and you are afforded the opportunity to coach at Nebraska or Michigan. Which do you take? Me, I take Nebraska. I don't have to worry about "little brother" and football is king. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt39
Nebraska by far. Michigan is a mess right now. Quote Link to comment

Branno
From a job security standpoint? Michigan. As long as you don't play obviously concussed players, and make any bowl game you get to keep your job. Talent standpoint? Michigan. (their classes seem to always outrank us)B1G relevance? Michigan (even with a stupid record, you always have "The Game" that gets hyped) Fan support? Michigan Unless your name is Rich Rodriguez, then Nebraska. Cause Michigan hates you for some irrational reason (this last part is mostly sarcastic). Quote Link to comment

You must beat the buckeyes Quote Link to comment
Hannibal
I am biased but I would say Nebraska. A successful coach is worshipped like a god in Nebraska. That said, don't underestimate Michigan's resources (i.e. money and population). Quote Link to comment
Redux
Michigan hands down. Not a doubt in my mind it is more appealing. 1) Nebraska just fired a coach that many coaches feel shouldnt have been. The bar is pretty damn high after 7 straight 9+ win seasons. UM on the other hand couldnt beat its way out or a wet sack, instant improvement will be seen as success. 2) The recruits Michigan has been bringing in are largely accepted as better than Nebraskas, they just werent developed. 3) The fan base will be almost 100% behind the new hire where Husker nation doesnt know how to feel about the next guy. 4) Its a better division in the East, at least thats what the talking heads would have you believe. 5) Hokes firing shocked nobody so those who want the job have probably been ready to jump at it.
