mnhusker
Great that our coaches at least get into the conversation but I assume this will go no where. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
My sources say Rich Fish is the front runner for that gig! At least theyd be hiring an experienced WR coach and not a golf instructor.... Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
This can likely be filed under "much ado about nothing," as these articles often are. Yesterday he writes about five guys on Les Miles' list to replace their departed WR coach (side note: it was nice of Les to share this list with the writer. Les is good like that). Today he adds a sixth name, not already included in his five-man article from the day before: Arkansas' Michael Smith. But wait! There's more! Because he not only adds Smith to that list, at the end of today's article he throws in yet more names: Western Kentucky's Ricky Brumfield, Oregon's Matt Lubick and USC's Tee Martin. For those of you who need to update your scorecards, that's nine people the writer has identified as targets for this position, or roughly 6% of all WR coaches in D1A and the NFL. It's possible we don't have much to worry about from this guy. He might not know what he's talking about. Tee Martin as in the former QB from Tennessee Quote Link to comment
4skers89
Since he has arrived he's never taken a picture smiling so maybe he's not happy here. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Anthony Dasher @AnthonyDasher1 Tony Ball confirms to me via text that he has in fact accepted a job to be the wide receivers coach at #LSU. So Coach Williams can actually unpack his bags and stick around for a while. Quote Link to comment

girlknowsfootball
So glad to hear we aren't losing Williams. That would have been a BIG loss. He is going to do great things here. Quote Link to comment

okaive
This is a relief. Losing 2 coaches in a week would have my mind raging. Quote Link to comment
