Report: FBI Investigates St. Louis Cardinals For Hacking The Astros

The FBI reportedly found evidence that St. Louis Cardinals officials broke into the Houston Astros’ internal database of player personnel information, according to the New York Times. Parts of that database, including updates on trade negotiations, were then published on Deadspin. The bureau has subpoenaed the team and MLB, and while no specific individuals have been named, this has the potential to be one of the biggest and weirdest scandals in baseball history.

Hmmmm....I didn't know Belichick switched to baseball.

Geez.....I have been frustrated that the Cubs haven't done well in June. (Infamous June swoon).

However, if they were in any other division in the NL they would be leading. If they were in the AL they would be leading the wild card.

As it stands they are third in their division and second in the wild card.

The rest of the season is going to be interesting. We've won 4 in a row. Keep it going.

OK...Cubs win 5 of their last 6 and don't get any closer to either team ahead of them. If they were in the AL, they would be ahead in the wild card. They would be easily in second place in either of the other NL divisions and only behind by a couple games. BUT....still third and the NL central at 8.5 games back. Pittsburgh (in second place) would easily be leading every other division but the AL west.

We are in by far the toughest division in baseball.

4 games with the Cards this week starting today and a double header tomorrow. This week is either going to be a disaster or we are going to make a move.
