Sark taking a "Leave of absence"

"Nobody will want to coach there if they fire him this quickly"

There's just a little bit of difference when a coach is fired for cause such as repeatedly showing up drunk to work or work-related events (which sounds as if that may not happen if he gets the help he apparently needs) and firing a coach 6 games after taking over a program because he's lost some games and a portion of the fans come unglued.

Hmmm. Even when that drunk coach has out-coached (3-2 vs. 2-4) the sober one?

This is probably a bad question to ask, but which would you rather have:

Mike Riley as is

Sarkisian drunk as a skunk?

:confucius

For sure a drunk Sarkisian, and I personally think Sarkisian is a mediocre coach.

The real question is who would be more courteous to refs, the media, and fans: A sober Pelini or drunk Sark? I really think it's Sark.

In conclusion, a drunk Sarkisian is better than sober Riley and Pelini. Even better is that he might be the one coach who will come here if we sack Riley after this season.

The big question, who would you rather go to a strip club with?

IDK, dude. I still think Sark would be a blast. Dude is loaded on the sideline. Where do you think he'd be mentally when there's some ta-tas all up in his grille?

Im telling you, dude. The more I think about Sark to Nebraska, the more I like it.

Hell, USC wanted him back in the day. Maybe we could just trade them straight up.

It just seems more and more that Haden has no idea what he's doing. If this was the path, why not from the outset instead of the "leave"? Heck, why was he allowed to coach the team at all after the drunk booster event? Zero penalty, not even a suspension.

Poor leadership from the USC AD. Thinking back, it goes back to the "strand Lane Kiffin at the airport" treatment." Also Haden. Not representing the Trojans very professionally.

I don't have a problem with going with the "leave of absence" first while figuring out what to do legally and within the contract with the job. However, I agree with not doing something as far as punishment after he was drunk at the booster event.

Meh.....Anyone who strands Lane Kiffen at an airport without a ride home gets a +1 from me just because it's Lane. However, the program first gets a - (minus) 1,000,000 for hiring the idiot to begin with.
