suh_fan93
Just started watching this show and really dig it so far. Great acting, a great cast and I love that's it's much darker than the movie was. 1 Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
Haha I love that the show gets cred for being darker than a movie that included something like a half dozen deaths and a body put into a wood chipper. Quote Link to comment

The tv show kept the darkness but definitely has lost the comedy. I think that's why I like it so much and I liked the comedy aspect of the actual/original movie. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I've heard so many great things about Fargo. Is there an order to it? i.e, should I watch movie first, then TV, or are they relatively distinct? Quote Link to comment

Yeah there are two seasons zoogs and I actually started with the first episode of season 2 and still really like it. I have yet to watch season 1 but have heard great things about it so I'm excited to start at the very beginning. edit: I completely overlooked that you had mentioned not seeing the movie. As the dude said I would start there first. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
For the longest time I thought this was a Netflix original series so I kept putting off watching it. Not sure I want to start with season 2. Quote Link to comment

suh_fan93
Netflix? Sadly not yet. It's on pay per view depending on your cable provider and new episodes air every Monday night on the FX channel. You can also currently stream season 2: http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/fargo/episodes Quote Link to comment
SCode
Season 1 is on Hulu. I liked S1 slightly more than S2. And watch the movie if you haven't. No specific order required, they are pretty much stand alone. Quote Link to comment
